Since Geass is based from "your deepest wish". Death note only allow you to kill people, and honestly, I don't care about killing people, it just a waste of your sanity.

I vote Geass too, but Geass does have several fundamental limitations.

1. Luck of the Draw: you might get lucky and get Mind Control, or you might get the power to... uh, send your soul to someone else when you die? No offense, Marianne, but that isn't something I desperately need.
2. Perma-Geass: don't forget that your Geass gets more and more powerful over time. Eventually you either turn into a lunatic like Mao, or draw millions around you like C.C., or accidentally order people to massacre like Lelouch. Great power sure has its drawbacks.

STILL, it beats the Death Note "hands-down" because
3. I'm not as smart as Light to hack into police computers and evade super-detectives.
4. I don't want to kill anyone right now - not even criminals. I'm living a very normal life, thank you very much.
5. Having a Shinigami floating around eating apples might scare all life out of me anyway.

Absolutely Death Note, one of the best Shounen manga, more over, I love KIRA power.... 😳 It's really simple, you can just write someone name in that note & wait for that person to die, not too much work...... that's why I love it! 🙂

Geass is kinda random depends on what the desire is and has a limited range and kinda uncontrollable while Death Note has unlimited range but can only kill and control action the of the written person to do actions he can do at a limited time and both have a tendency to drive you mad as shown Geass made quite a few people insane and some people had to deal with severe issues having Geass while Death Note has a lot of mental stress and drives people mad to certain extent. To summarize Death Note limited powers resulting in 100% death with unmatched range as long as condition are fulfilled and Geass has unlimited powers varying your desire and a limited range and uncontrollable at times, so i would say i really just depends on what power is given by Geass because some of those powers are kinda just bad, i for one would not like to hear everything, be a human magnet and soul transferring deep sleep till i wake.

Death Note is a solid choice while Geass is a gamble, for example someone has a desire to see every female naked he gets that with Geass but he cant control it, imagine seeing a granny naked!

Death Note = U know what you are getting
Geass = Random as fuck depending on what you want

personally id love a Geass if mine was a good one otherwise id prefer a Death Note and be a hero when something bad is happening in the world, such as terrorist and stuff.

on the side to the person on first page bashing Light as a retard for being caught is just silly, he wanted to be known as a judge of evil if he had hid his tracks he would had undoubtedly be alive, he specifically made the heart attack to be known and got outsmarted when L found out where he resided before he got to know L's true potential which was fatal and narrowed down the area from the world to japan and then to Tokyo (i think).
