Description
Volume 1:

1-2. Punch Up
Motoharu is an openly gay, elite architect whose preference is the athletic, pretty boy type. While checking out the well-built construction workers at his favourite hunting ground the construction site, he found his missing wayward cat Shinobu. A hot-tempered, sarcastic, bratty ironworker named Kouta insists Shinobu is Nyata his cat. Will Maki be able to tame the vicious pet(s)? (features Misono from Mayou Otoko)

3. Punch Up
Kouta feels uneasy after finding out about Motoharu and Shinobu's one night stand.

4. Sweet Train
Junsuke presents Shinobu a trip to Sapporo by train as a belated birthday gift. (features Shinobu and Junsuke from Play Boy Blues)

Motoharu learns a little bit more about Kouta's past from the youth's ex-classmate.

3. Ohki Kouta's Interview
A little interview detailing Kouta's job.

The appearance of his ex bf, They made a fuss over it. And I can see why, this guy is clearly still into his ex. And the amnesia is ridiculous. Other than that, the story is actually better than her other work and the art is great.

The love isn't believable and it starts without basis. The seme jumps his ex-boyfriend forcefully, and the uke forgive him after two to three line of alibi and one punch. I stop reading it after the second chapter. >.<

Wow. This manga is just really amazing. It has one of the best slowly built up tension ever. To be honest I was kinda of bored in the first few chapters but I'm so glad that I didn't give up on the manga. It gets really good toward the middle and especially toward the end the tension build up so much that I stood up all night to finish the manga. I just love the uke! He is so cute and manly at the same time. The seme, although he's a flirt and a pervert, his love for the uke really shines through. And the sex scenes in this are just HOT!!

Finally wanting to read Punch Up, I spent the past few days reading all the prequel mangas way back to the first "Gaten na Aitsu" and I have to say, that's really worth it!
Definitely do take the time to read the other mangas first because you will already know most of the characters by the time you start Punch Up!

I like the characters a lot and seeing them all interact with each other is super interesting.
What I personally find a bit questionable is Motoharu having to hit on any male around him and then acting hurt when Kouta doesn't trust him... well what do you expect!
I do like Motoharu though, he's such a big goofball and when he is nice to Kouta then he really is nice... all pampering him and taking care of him, you can just tell he can be so loving and sweet.
I also love Kouta because he's a strong uke, he stands his own ground and I like the fact that he's so bitter and sad, thinking he doesn't deserve a good man, but he really loves Maki.
I like the somewhat realistic kind of drama, especially when the two of them start talking about their pasts, and Maki wants to find out more... Love Kouta's past so much as well! His brother's lover... He's not a bad guy or anything, their story is sort of bittersweet as well and it just makes me happy to see Kouta in love with Maki in the end because he deserves it!

The drama is so intense and it gets better with every chapter you read!
The extras all through the series are so funny!

I have to recommend this to anyone! It's true that as a yaoi fan, you need to read this!
(Do so even if you don't like Kano Shiuko's other works - I don't like her usual weird humor either but I love this series!)

It the best yaoi ever, I wish someone could continue to scan the last chapters. I wanna know the ending, PLEASE and Thank You!! Also, thank you for scan this series, i enjoy rereading it so much!!! biggrin Arigato!

I've only read up to Chapter 4 because I can't seem to find the other scanlations but I'm happy with the chapters that I've read so far. >_<

Let me start with the art. It's beautiful, clean and basically, the guys are extremely gorgeous so it satisfied a picky fan like me. The characters have debth and are memorable, something every manga should have but sadly, some lack. Motoharu's personality is surprisingly hilarious. I thought he was going to be some aloof seme but he turned out to be the wackier one of the relationship. Kouta, on the other hand, the uke, is the aloof one with his brute strength that I love seeing in Ukes.

I thought the plot was clique but that stuff doesn't matter in a manga when the art and the characters seem so well thought out and so beautifully drawn.

It's really a must read and definitely not a waste of time. Extremely recommended. ^_^

This is truly a great series. its one of my first yaoi and i can say i read it like a thousand times its a must READ if you want charaters who are diffrent from the regular stupid in love, these have their own twist

i loved this manga!!! not a fan of kano sensei's work to be honest. but i loved this one.. and this manga is one of my favourite mangas in the world!! total treat to the eyes!!n at the same time it leaves an impression on ur heart aswell.... the story was awesome!!! loved it!!

i like kano shiuko's work in general, because it's always been different from the bulk of BL. but this is probably my favourite at this point (end of v2), because it has it all -- not just the explicit, graphic, inventive, hot sex for which kano is maybe best known, but also a solid, realistic story about growing into relationships, regrets, insecurities, making one's peace with the past, learning to trust despite having been hurt. contrary to another reviewer i didn't find the humour jarring; i have probably completely gotten used to chibification, and it no longer throws me out of the story. PBB is good, but this is even more mature. there are no girly uke here, no flowery pseudo-gayness. i don't think i can think of anything this manga is missing; it's a shining beacon in a sea of BL mediocrity.

i guess since it is a libre publication, fantasyshrine is no longer scanlating this? i hope somebody more anonymous and therefore safer from C&D letters is going to pick it up, so people who don't read japanese can enjoy this excellent manga -- there's really just one more real chapter left, but that one is important.
