It does involve its share of shoujo cliches, but I really liked this when I first read it a couple of years back. I'm quite partial to stories where the romance is a bit unexpected, a case that especially applies here since the guy isn't even the type she'd usually fall in love with, being both younger and shorter than her. Anyway, it's pretty cute.

It was very cute and entertaining although it was predictable but
guaranteeing that cute romance stories you read this was just a simple
story to it. All around it was worth reading including the oneshots <3

This is solid typical shoujo fare. It's about as cute as it can possibly be. The art's not very good, but it's not awful, and other than that it sticks to form so exactly that it's hard to make any complaints - other than that it sticks to form so exactly.

The main story is really cute, but what I liked best about it is probably the older girl/younger guy pairing. Not only is that slightly unusual, but the female lead is boyish and not particularly pretty! And she doesn't fall head over heels for him straight away, it's the other way around. Hurrah.

The other two oneshots are pretty generic. The second one, the better of the two, is so sugary (the yummy cakes!) that it'll probably give you cavities.

The art is common shoujo fare; the characters look nice, but not particularly different from anything else. Fujita Nimi is still a rookie mangaka, so the slightly wacky proportions in some of the panels can be excused (she's weaker with the side profiles).
