Description

interesting yet the pointless panty shot panel fanservice during fights can be annoying and feel very corny. almost feel like this is part comedy because of the strange samurai ninja girl costume lol. probebly better stories out there but wanted something to read with older character. it a mix bag.

weird to see this many positive commends and high points for this manga. almost no plot, art is nothing special.. almost everything a little bit above average. i was almost always on the edge of saying i was bored but never reached that point tho so maybe the mangaka did somethings right.. who knows?

Great story!! I just love when they mix real history facts with the mangas plot, got me hooked from the beginning, liked a lot the art I think I superb, clean. Pretty dam well drawn tushies n///n the best I ever seen 😛

didnt give it a full 10 because the open ending

The story had a great pace with no fillers, every thing on this manga counts, very enjoyable, hope u like it as much as I did 😉

Hope it has a sequel ^^

Simple, straightforward plot, generic fighting scenes, cliched characters with unbelievable abilities, and the oft-overused "struggle to become the perfect warrior" theme, with all its trappings.

But the characters! Oh, the characters! Everyone is so lovable. And who can dislike a heroine with such amazing willpower, and such human flaws? Hyou is so adorable. She's strong-willed, short-tempered, and full of energy, yet she's completely overcome by her self-imposed feelings of responsibility, abondonment, and loneliness. I'm starting to ramble, so I'll stop. Suffice it to say, this one's a 10.

P.S. This really isn't yuri at all, save its almost entirely female cast, and some Hyou adoration on Himeka's part. Anyways, make sure you've got strong yuri goggles, if that's what you came here for.

Also, this really isn't ecchi, either. There's a metric f***ton of nipples and asses, but that really isn't the focus, it's just a part of the style. Anyways, the "ecchi" and "adult" tags raised an eyebrow, but after finishing this one, I'd say it's more deserving of maybe just a "seinen" tag -- intended for older audiences.

A Great Tale to Read

Well, you don't see action yuri manga too often but this manga was done well and was also done in good taste.

Although the plot isn't really anything spectacular or unquie, it as the factor to draw you in with great action and a hand full of awesome characters which is a big plus for anyone who reads action/seinens. The art was was also great and left out the dramatic clutter you often see in these types of manga.

I'll give it a 9 for its efforts, it's short and you won't be bored with this.

An Amazing Series

I've always wanted to read a series like Himegami, a cool, interesting, well-drawn action manga that just happened to have a yuri romance rather than a male/female one. I am not disappointed in the slightest. Himegami is a manga that fulfills my expectations entirely.

The art is beautiful. The costumes are oddly designed, but you get used to them. The characters are all gorgeous. They are all mostly interesting. Hyou and Himeka are lovable leads, the main villain is memorable, and a number of side characters, such as the police captain also stand out.

The plot isn't anything breathtaking. Despite this, it all works, and never seemed forced to me. There was enough there to always keep my interests.

The romance was handled very well. It's not over done, but it's not the sort of lame subtext that can be ignored. It's cute, and there's a fair amount of fanservice, but the relationship is built without the author having to blatantly focus on some of the stupid little anxieties you see in some yuri manga.

Overall, one of my favorite manga I have read this far. More manga like this needs to be made.

Well there's action, mild yuri, shoujo ai and a lot of fan service 🙂 plus all of this is fit in a good and interesting story.
Saying anything more than I have is going to give away key moments, and would spoil the fun of anyone looking to have a good time.

Every single character in this series is sexy. Even Himeko, and I usually find overlarge breasts to be gross. And that police officer.... and the long-haired ambassador... <33
Yes, the GL takes a definite backseat to the action, and although that would usually bother me, in this manga it doesn't.

I've been waiting for a manga like this since Rurouni Kenshin.

It's about time we get an action/Shoujo-Ai/Yuri manga with cute, well-drawn women! Especially since Hyou-chan is a tsundere! I implore those of you who are tired of the typical Yuri situations to read this! You will not regret it!
