This is a story about two friends, from nearly the beginning to almost the end of their lives, who happen to love each other.
Tatsuya and Junichi are in 5th grade and their music teacher is a pedophile. One day the music teacher has a request for Yumi, a girl who uses him to get expensive gifts. He wants her to get Tatsuya into the music room so he can be with him. Junichi recently confessed his feelings for Yumi and she decides to use him as bait to get Tatsuya to go to the music room. Junichi and Tatsuya's future does not look good...
Note: Only chapter 1 of volume 1 and chapter 7 of volume 2 is shotacon. Reading chapter 1 is almost necessary for the story and is not very explicit, but chapter 7 of volume 2 is an extra/one-shot and can be skipped over completely for those who dislike shota.

I Just Don't Get It
Honestly, I don't know if I would have been better off not reading it. Did I like it? Why, yes. Did I find it absolutely disgusting? Why, yes. I really want to rate this a 10 and a 1 at the same time. The only decent and likable character is Junichi. Everyone else is either an absolute douche bag to Junichi or each other.
Idk; Truly I just don't know
I have some very serious issues with this manga. I really do. By end of the first volume I liked it, by the second volume I was going to stop reading because I just couldn't bear it anymore (the so, so, so twisted and wrong melodramatic cliches of the

lesbian, (which I was actually happy to see and set my heart on giving this series of 10 but then Ringo-sensei absolutely butchers it)
(women) homewrecker and youthful indiscretion), the third volume same, and I truly didn't hope anything from the fourth volume either but it got me; I cried so much And no I don't have low standards. Honestly, I hate, dislike or am meh for every single character except for Junichi. And as crazy as it might be the 10 is for Junichi, only. I really do love him, and no matter what anyone says he really does deserve someone better than Tatsuya. The art is to my liking and I believe fits the image of the story very nicely. The characters features change as they age which is definitely a positive point. Sometimes I even wondered if they were the same characters or not.
The only manga that made me cry this way!!!!
It's the only manga that made me cry this much. I'm literally a mess after finishing this..... After reading the ending I felt a sense of sadness and happiness at the same time. Relationship are not always smooth sailing but they still find their way into their hearts and remain with each other till death do they part. The cover may be a bit unappealing but the content is what it's great. A truly magnificent manga. It's like no other. I will forever treasure this in my heart......

I really hate it
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I f*cking hate the cheating part. If the author want to create a situation where Tatsuya have to marry a woman, why she use this method!!!! You hate woman for many years and a co-worker ask something like hey wanna sex, you agree? Our pitiful Junichi...
Just awful. If you're searching for a typical clichéd and melodramatic BL without half a regard for realism look no further. Some series are so bad they're good. This one is so bad it's awful. My only conclusion from seeing all the positive reviews is that some people have really low standards.
Stirs up emotion, made me feel so angry
Thanks to tha mangaka's writing ability, I HATE Tatsuya so much! What a low life human being! I cried for Jun a lot while reading this. This is what you call one bad decision makes you can change you life. Everytime I see the cover, I would remember the cheating bastard who doesn't love anyone but himself, GO DIE!. Totally agree with mtmt1311's comment above, it's worth reading if you want to get frustrated and cry.

Mixed feelings ;_;
The feels. Such a beautiful story... Although many of you might her Takako, i don't thinks shes to blame for getting married to Tatsuya. I think she really tried to avoid it, but got convinced by him and the thought of not being alone anymore. I really think that Tatsuya was a coward, even when he was the one dragging Jun to their relationship, he kept on doubting him almost till the end and always cared more about what others may think. I really think that he slept with her as he said, trying to scape of their relationship and the stigma it was for him... For me, he was so egotistic. Jun was my favorite of them all. He really deserved to live happily ever after <3
I admit the beginning was a little effy but the more you read the better it gets, until you just grow to love everyone in the manga! Gosh I love this manga and how it portrayed the life of gay men. This was just so touching and gosh the ending left my heart aching!!! I wondered who Manabu ended up dating and I wish there were more details in between the events where Kazuya was going to open his cafe and how Junichi became a part of his life again. Either way this manga as so good! I didn't want it to end but when it did I was satisfied as well. Beautiful!!! PS the first yaoi I teared up this bad.
Interesting, realistic view on a whole lifetime!
Well, the start is just terrible. The comedy-shounen style really doesn't go well with the rapist teacher and all... I didn't like the art much, and while the comedic panels and silly faces stay, the art becomes better once the guys are adults. I won't say too much about this manga, but it's a more realistic view, also covering some of the possible 'downsides' of homosexuality. It's a view on a couple's life, together and separated, from their childhood together to their death - and that makes it very special. I love seeing a lot of the life of characters, and you really do get a lot here!
If you want to read something other than the usual tiny snippets of relationship that BL manga have, give it a shot! It's not always positive and you might have some heartache, but it's close to life! Bad things happen! It's an overall positive read, and you really just gotta make it through the first volume, cause from the 2nd volume on it gets a lot better.
Personally, I didn't like that

Kenta didn't end up with Gakkun... I was hoping they'd get a happy ending too, HOWEVER, on the other hand, I am also kind of tired of those mangaka who make the whole family gay which is just unrealistic. So in a way, the mangaka's decision to leave them separated was also not bad and while this left me feeling a bit sad at the end, I wouldn't rate it lower because of that either.

It is good.
I don‘t usually write reviews but it doesn‘t hurt to do so from time to time.
The story gives us snippets of two guys‘ lifetime. They were originally childhood friends then turn lovers in their adolescence after that they grow closer then grow further and so on. 4 volumes cannot tell a person‘s whole lifetime so the author does time skips every chapter and the other, in a way I quite liked and felt comfortable with.
Since the manga is like a biography of Junichi and Tatsuya readers might expect something extremely serious but this manga is rather light, silly (in a good way) and comedic just as the tag comedy suggests. Yes stuff like this doesn‘t happen in real life but I‘m sure we don‘t seek realism in manga a lot, especially in a manga aimed for young female readers.
Even after I finished reading this manga I still can‘t see Junichi and Tatsuya as nothing but a rather way too close friends. Perhaps the author intended to portray this but I am not sure. I simply feel like they are just close bros who feel deep for each others and, at some point, started having sex.
Going to do the rest with pluses and minuses. (+)Flow of time (+)The relationship the main characters have which I still can‘t view as pure love (+)Awkward balance of comedic and serious element in the story (+)Flow of time.. Did I mention this before?
(-)Art is shit (-)Predictable (-)Leaves no impact on the reader
I feel like I can forget the story tomorrow, which is a big minus for any story out there.
Don‘t let my rating stops you from reading it if you‘re into BL manga and all the more if you are searching for something a bit different. I never rate BL manga more than 7 (unless there are tasty shotas and traps) so 6 is a good rating relative to my rating standards.
