| I stopped this manga after chapter 14 (near end of v02). The story is just unbearably trashy. It's like something a grade schooler could come up with. Main guy has to beat the 4 bad generals who are trying to revive the demon god thing etc. and the fights themselves are equally mindless. Spoiler (highlight to view) He fights this fire ifrit thing and it supposedly is immune to fire but the main guy uses the ifrits own fire against him and it beats him somehow. Then he fights this ninja guy and each of them lose an arm. After the fight they just reattach their arms with no explanation. Retarded. I did not find the characters likable or the humor funny either.

The story gets better, how unlikely that seems, although the ecchi can get a bit over the top sometimes. I'm wondering sometimes if he has to grope every girl in the manga. -.-

Started off watching the short anime cartoon series of it, but that didn't have a ending, so i looked for the manga story and found lots. Totally loved it! I think it has a great balance of humor, romance, and kick ass-ness! I only wish i knew how to read Japanese, cuz only 9 volumes of it has been translated to English that i've found.  so jealous of all you lucky folks that have read up to volume 23!

I just read it again this week(up to vol 23) and what can i say....it´s simply briliant imo >< for all the possible readers: there´s a story break at vol 15 and from this point it gets epic.......EPIC!!!!!!!
*can´t wait till vol 24 is released*

I am up to chapter 28 and well... I must admit I had few laughs out of this. I especially like this version of harem-like story. but well, it is lacking in many aspects. like, they use many attacks and names for them but I only remembered one so far - Venom. I just didn't get pulled in as much as I could. I wonder how the story is going to develop and if it will get any real sense to it.
overall, don't take it too seriously and you might enjoy it.

Yeah, kinda odd with the angel/devil war and one main character dying and getting reincarnated (I think). I only viewed through the raws up to 21 (since I can't read it yet) but Dark Schneider and his kinda lookalike get into a battle (Dark Schneider mocks him the whole time though).
