Yes, unfortunately Lavendar Tinted is not around anymore, but this work is available over the net, quite easily actually. Give this one a try, it's nice to read manga made by an Italian artist, set in Italy none the less!

Different Art
Rating: N/A

As already mentioned, the art for this one is very different. I do think that it is more comparable to US comic books than the art that we normally refer to as manga. The characters do look a little odd at times [or maybe all the time], but I can easily appreciate the amount of detail that was put into the backgrounds to give the feeling of old buildings that are a bit worn.

It is unfortunate that character development is almost non-existent. The vampire is a bit stereotypical in that he appears to sleep in his coffin and grave. I think this was done to make it more obvious what he is as your only other clues are that he gives people the creeps and a painting that suggests he should be long dead. It is a bit disappointing that the plot/story isn't as strong as the art.

Just a side note -- The scanlation group that this one is long gone to the point that their website no longer exists, but this can still be found on the Internet quite easily though if you look around a bit.

comic-like art

If you ignore the art it's a nice story about a man who decided to live in solitude because of a dark secret. This manga offers no real character-explaination, but some character-development. Furthermore it is in Seinen style (realistic comic art).
