Men readers are less likely to. This is a classic young man's fantasy that gradually segues into a classic male nightmare. To move in with a group of pretty girls, with sex and/or love necessarily highly possible in the situation simply because at least one of them is likely to go for you, is the fantasy part, and a rich one it is!
To then gradually find out that you are going to be reduced to primarily a doer of "Honey do's" (middle aged men's nickname for the endless manly chores that wives expect of husbands of long duration) is the disappointing reality that many men find in marriage.
In other words, men tend to start out with a romantic, hopeful view of marriage or involvement (romance, male version), but often gradually lose that and start to feel trapped instead.
It is so sad that the scanlators dropped this manga near the half-way point. That's because husband-wife relationships, which the story really seems to symbolize, often later go on to better things once again, and I would just bet that that is what happens in this manga as it plays out to its end.
It's the human condition, after all.
