Vol. 1, Side Story 1: A "Girlfriend" with Substance
Minami Kanan's debut work. Sachi was so determined to become Takanori's girlfriend that there was no way he could say "no." Literally, no way. She's the girlfriend he was forced to have, and he treats her as such. They go out together, but it seems obvious that Takanori hates every moment of it. When Sachi finally has enough of his unaffected attitude, will it make Takanori happy to be alone again?
Vol. 2, Side Story 2: Unconditional Love Formula
Tachibana Kouya is a whiz kid, while Ayumi barely passed the entrance exams. They're at opposite ends of the spectrum, but Ayumi is determined to win Kouya's love by having him tutor her -- then, when she passes the physics exam, she's going to confess. Why would Kouya want to tutor such a poor student, though? Ayumi's love rival discovers that Ayumi had to bribe Kouya to do it, and so she feels no remorse when she ruthlessly foils our heroine's efforts to succeed in physics and love...!
Vol. 2, Side Story 3: The Rumored Natori-kun
High school freshman Ai just found out that the stranger she fell in love with at first sight is the notorious Natori-kun, who goes to her school and is rumored to ditch every girl he agrees to date. That doesn't discourage Ai, though, because he's been nothing but nice to her so far. What will it take to become Natori's girlfriend, or is Ai doomed to become just another rumor?

My favorite part overall about this manga was the fact that the guy and girl loved each other so much, and then there was that side character which you kinda liked... so it was like a drama filled love triangle, which is cool because Come on! you have to have drama in a manga in order for it to be, at the very least, decent. The art was a little iffy, I mean the character's appearance kinda looked similar to a animals, but I got used to it after a while.. anyhoo, this is for sure one of the better mangas I have read so far. <3 Also the title didn't make sense, but that is about it... Amazing Read for sure!

FINALLY a good manga where the other guy DONT rape her because he cant have her, instead he is a understanding guy in the end, The plot was good, the art was good, the end was good/happy =) I recomend it ^_^ Like someone said the title dint go with the manga since it was about romance and soccer... But it was still good

this was a really good manga.. the art wasn't to bad and the plot was very nice... it's hard to find a romance that involves so many other elements along with it .. i was happy to stumble upon this manga!!

To try to answer the question about the title. I think it is a metaphor. In a strand of pearls if one comes loose ( or falls off ), the whole strand falls apart. I don't want to give any spoilers so I will leave it at that. To understand better, read the story. I really enjoyed this story.

This is such a nice story and i just love sensei's art so it was nice to see those bishies, not to mention the smut. I really liked how the story although it had some drama it was not over the limit and it was so cute at times, mostly by the soccer members.

It was a bit typical, but then isn't every shoujo? I mean, really. But this one was good. I liked the characters (well, all except one... *glares at him*) and the story was solid. I thought the side stories were also good - the second one in volume 2 made me LOL a couple times. XD
All in all, this was a good read! 
...although I don't know what the title has to do with soccer, either! XD

i didn't know exactly what the title had to do with the manga.. (since it was about soccer + romance more ><;;) but it was a nice read anyways =] the lead male character is.. well, too perfect, but.. that's typical in a shoujo manga XD
