Brillant one shots

These are one of the best one shots I seen from any author especially the second and third story. The story is brief but memorable and impactful, the second story about an ex boyfriend and the third about the succbus the portrayal of romance is not generic and very touching and extremely, this along with there's nothing wrong with me are one of the best one volume story that have very emotional one shots. Can't recommend it enough

The first story was a nice surprise from you know, normal josei..as in that the romance wasn't exactly,,straight. As evident in other reviews, some people might not like it, so don't bother reading this if you're boring like that. The second one was kinda heavyhearted, and the ending was oh-so-bittersweet! The third one was good too. The main girl and the concept is interesting, These collection of one-shots are over-all pretty funny and sweet. It's a nice read!

Some supernatural love compilation huh. Well, i liked the second one best, it was cool for that guy to let her go~ The mermaid one, ehhhh....the interchange between female and male, woa, weird...The last one was also a woa, priest and succubus, aiyaiyai, so wrong brother so wrong...but all in all, the power of love in every story is so strong, and the art is soooo nice, always love Yuki sensei's works, nice!

Well I found two of the stories had something irking me.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
In the first story I found it a bit weird that it's basically 2 different people when his sex switches.
The second story was disturbing since the ex-boyfriend was just a big jerk, cheating but then telling her she cannot be with another man even if he's already long dead.... ug. I'm glad how it ended though.

I liked the 3rd story a lot because it was a different setting! The usual thing if a demon is involved is making him a sexy guy who falls for a human girl...well this was really refreshing, and I liked Ten a lot.

Generally I have to say I like that these stories, while they can be dark, gloomy, even disturbing most of the time have a very happy and satisfying ending!

Hm other than that, I really dislike this mangaka's SD/chibi haha.
Well, generally it's a collection worth reading. The oneshots are not all happy and cheerful but if you are looking for something with a bit more thought then give it a shot.

Generally I think they're pretty good oneshots; I especially liked the third one. When she said

"God? Ahh, the name humans only use as an excuse to invade and slaughter, right?"
and
"Don't Catholic priests molest kids?"

I couldn't help but laugh.

I kinda like the ningyo ouji story although I find the yuri part quite sick (I'm not a fan of yuri you see). I'd rather see the girl be with the guy than the wakame girl. But the stroryline is quite nice. Very interesting as well. I felt a little sad when I read Takuto and Kaya's story. It's quite heart wrenching. He loved her enough to kill her so that she can be with him but....in all ways, that's just wrong as well.

As for the last story...uh...well....I dunno what I should say...I only like the last part, the one with her and the baby. Looks so nice!!

Enjoyable

Pretty cute, not the best out there though. I gotta say, all three stories are more or less sex-driven. Which basically means, they can be somewhat shallow in places. I still find them adorable though.
Basically, the love is bit on the weak side, rather than love I'd say sex. But I managed to ignore that, as shallow as it is, they fit the story well.

Art is pretty good, although again, probably not the best. They're good, but doesn't stand out much from the crowd.

In all, a pretty average manga, maybe a bit above. Worth reading, but don't expect to see anything amazing. I enjoyed it, but it will never enter my favs.

First One

I only read the first story about the "merman" and "mermaid" that didn't even have tails (don't give me that bs about how they don't have to have tails... that's like vampire without fangs! It's not right. Sure, they can put the tails away, but it would have been cool if they had one...)

And I say "they" because the mermaid was male and female (although I'm pretty sure it called its a she, a mermaid). Which leads us to the LESBIAN sex scene, which was fun, but I was like, "WTF?" And then the heroine was like "Yeah, this is what it feels like to be a man!" (Insert inappropriate comment here).

All in all, a very strange manga. I only liked it because of the lesbian scene.

Sex = main drive

So:

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
A girl had sex with some random stranger, a girls ex boyfriend had sex with her using another guy's body, and because the sex was good the priest suddenly changed his mind and its now ok to have sex o_O
I didn't really like all the sex stuff cause I felt like those were the main drive in the stories, but at least I get to see babies >>''

7/10 for at least the originality of the stories, and the girls' got at least some spunk.

An excellent story! The hermaphrodite/intersexed merperson was an incredible way to begin to approach the subject of how a woman (the OL) feels a part of both the female and male gender schema. I really enjoyed both story and art flow.

The ghost story made me cry--and I'm a tough-as-nails-rolls-my-eyes-at-sweet-romance person! I was on the bus, and big fat tears started to well up as I read the pure, selfish and yet unselfish love this passionate, young couple had. And the end, with the flowers, well... I just felt such a rush of feeling! It was lyrical, sensitive and just oh-so-human. <3

The succubus one was the least interesting to me. It fell a little flat. But by golly, the Merperson and the Ghost story have seeds of great thought in them and the art is simple enough (a little too pretty for the men, though) that you can really lose yourself in the 'big' emotions of their faces.
