Description
From Ochibichan:

“I must get into that school!”

That was the sudden thought Chinatsu had during the summer of her third year in middle school. Chinatsu never really thought about her goals and dreams in life, but after seeing a match in the Japan National High School Baseball Tournament (or Koushien), she suddenly had a goal to achieve! She worked extra hard, and finally got into the school, but on the first day, she meets a fierce looking senpai who is actually the baseball team’s ace player! Once again, Chinatsu did her best and managed to be the baseball team’s manager, yet the most important player is…?!

Innocent

This story is not deep to any extent. However it's simplistic plotline, endearing characters and the theme behind the story make it a sweet short read that I enjoyed just from the innocence of the plot.

Plot- Simple, make the baseball team great. There isn't much depth to the story but it manages to be very sweet with its characters and the strong sense of commitment they share that draws them all together in a very satisfying ending.

Characters- Simple characters, but I was very happy by how dynamic they proved to be. The changes, even in this short work, were quite natural and well done.

Art- Nice art, truly was typical shoujo but it was nice to see the males drawn in a more normal fashion than overly bishie.

Other- A nice story all around, and so short you might as well just pick it up and read it! Recommended if one is interested.

6/10- Liked it

I have to say that this is one of the cooler romances. It's not just about the physical but shows how you can support someone emotionally. I really give this manga a two thumbs up, a must read.

this is so great. if anyone's seen Toki wo kakeru shoujo, it sort of reminds me of that kind of romance. mostly because the heroine is cheerful, similar to Makoto. i look forward to more! and it has great art too!!
