Bekku Nanaki is mirror clairvoyant. She moved to Tokyo from the countryside to escape calamities she sees. There, she witnesses an accident on the road caused by a mobile fish vendor, who saves her from being crushed by a billboard that falls from above.

The next day, he turns out to be Banjou Kizaki, her classmate and a student held back due to his involvement in incidents and accidents that others attribute to his being unlucky. His eccentric behavior, however, catches her attention, which he explains as changing the future...

I reminds me of Mirai Nikki with the main characters abilities to see the future but without quite the level of insanity.

What a Rush

The story is WAY too FAST. It's as if there's no story in the middle. There's a start, then there's an end. (What?) A series at this scale must be longer. There are a lot of stories to be told; backgrounds of characters and objects. The climax of the final arc is nothing compared to the stories before, so weak. The very end left loads of things that should have been told untold. There should also be more arcs, which will slowly reveal the story behind everything happening, making the story engaging and more sensible.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The origin of the Seal Mask? How that girl got the Seal Mask? How that guy got the Cassandra Mask? How could the protagonist got the book? Who the heck is the enforcer? Where was he from? How the heck he survived the last prediction of his death at the end? etc

Romance is also too strangely developed. I'm not asking for a pure drama of love but at least make it something acceptable, not just forcing it to readers.

This is sad because the setting, the main idea and the 'moral of the story' actually are great and fresh. I can't blame everything on the author though, because I don't know if the author ran out of ideas or just received too short length.

Can someone just remake this series please? Same setting, same idea but different storytelling, more chapters, and a lot more detailed story.

Despite its bad story (but great idea and outline), the art, especially the exciting camera angle in battle scenes, is great. I like it a lot.

The art was pretty good and the characters were interesting. The whole clairvoyancy thing was cool and then there were the anti-heroes getting involved. I have little in the way of criticism for the motivations that were given to the characters. About how they went about their work is a bit wierd. I would think that if there was a string of averted disasters that had the same couple of people involved their would be some other people asking questions maybe the police getting involved. In this story the police were only incidental to the story and only getting in the way when the characters were trespassing.

Most of the story was man against disaster but only for the most part man made disasters, though most of them were accidental in nature.

The characters were fun and while it was short it did not overwhelm us with huge amounts of episodes that are so common in the shounen genre. The ending was a little bit rushed though I somewhat enjoyed how the ending is a foreshadowing of the prediction. This way the ending was left a little bit open does he die or not.

I don't know why it was given so little space( guess it was cut short by popularity polls or smthn), but it was interesting and fun. I'm looking forward to more works from this mangaka.

The art and storyline is really well done until the end. the art is still fine, but the ending is not as satisfying as it could've been. otherwise, it's a great manga.

I never read shounen, i always read shoujo, (i'm a girl) and i love this manga. Its very good i always get sick of Shoujo where the girl always falls for the guy but this seems a bit more interesting and with all the action, it awsome!

Good artwork and a story that is unique makes for a worth while read. Another plus is that the MC was capable and competent from the git-go.

I only wish that it had lasted longer to bring out the plot and character development better.

Itís strange how some manga that I think should be shorter have many volumes and chapters, and some manga that I would like to be longer are quite short. This manga is one of those manga that I wish was longer, but isnít. Even though it isnít long the story was an excellent one, and though I wish it had gone on for a bit longer it was still a very nice read that was extremely enjoyable!

Plot- The plot is very interesting, great concept for the story. However the shortness of the manga dragged the plot down a bit, it would have been better if the manga had been a bit longer and some parts of the plot were drawn out a bit longer, as it is the manga isnít bad and the pacing is quite nice.

Characters- The characters are really endearing, Banjou is quite strange, but in a funny way, and Nanaki is sweet and levels off Bajouís strangeness nicely. The duo is fun to read about. The other characters play more minor rolls and you donít really get to know the secondary characters that much making them nothing all that special, but not bad characters either.

Art- The art was nice but sometimes it seemed the artist got a bit lazy with some pictures and those images didnít seem as good as other images on the page. But the artwork was still quite nice.

Other- I felt that the antagonistís were just thrown in there, quickly defeated, and then just forgotten. I was a bit annoyed by this but not annoyed enough for it to lower my liking of the manga. Another thing to note, everyone, the end is (in all likelihood) a happy one.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Iíve concluded that Banjou lives in the end, the Cassandra mask is what was behind all the prophesies, which included the ones Banjou saw in his book, including the one about his own death, so when they sealed the mask it was suspected that the prophesies made by the Cassandra mask would be broken, which includes the prediction of Bajouís death. Also at the end Nanaki sayís ďTomorrow Banjouís new life startsĒ indicating he will live and Chiasa and Nanaki keep on talking during the end about Banjou's plans for the future also indicating he'll live, and, though this is more just my own assumptions, both Nanaki and Chiasa donít seem sad at all, on the contrary they seem happy which would be strange if that day Banjou was dyingÖ Plus they are having his birthday under a full blooming sakura tree which would be strange for them to have it there if they didnít believe the predictions to be broken. Just my thoughts, feel free to disagree.
The ending was a bit open unless you put some thought into it. The manga was good; it captured my attention and kept a firm hold of it all throughout the manga, and even at times had me on the edge of my seat as I awaited what would happen next. I really do recommend this manga!

8/10 Ė Was good

Why does it have to end like that. Its my first time reading a manga like this. Its actually pretty good but the 8 chapters are soooooo! short.
its not even funny. But its good while it last but still I'm kinda angry on the publishers of this. It could last longer than that but it didn't.
