i read the 2 volumes that was out in the u.s. A LONG time ago. it was still pretty romantic. i loved the series, i later watched the anime. It was very touching. i liked onegai twins as well

I'm almost fully a 100% manga person, however in the case of Onegai Teacher I watched the anime instead of reading the manga. Reason? Probably just length. 13 episodes vs 2 volumes of manga, the anime just seemed to get so much more in.
However, still recommend this as a read - but yeah - just a heads up, be sure to check out the anime episodes of this as well (subbed, the dubs are shait). |

please i beg of you, dont read this manga, its such a travesty. here is why:
as far as setups go, its KIND of original, even so, i liked it a lot; im a sucker for student/teacher things ever sense unbalancexunbalance. but even so, each chapter it got worse and worse. not to mention, this manga gets an award for "most pathetic plot device EVER" some gay ass shit called 'stagnation' which is like a mini coma every time the main character gets his panties in a twist.
ugh i just hate to see this kind of manga. so much potential, but so poorly used. every relationship and character was HORRIBLY underdeveloped, not to mention in the final 2 chapters when it should be making a sensible conclusion they introduce another character and give "him/her" like 1 line of dialog....
did i mention the method of storytelling is just atrocious in itself. so please dont read this, find something else, this is just a terrible waste of your time. seriously PM me before reading this, ill tell you something better; i just dont want anyone to go though what i just did...

This is one of the most unusual romantic stories I've come to read so far...
But it's just as amazing as unusual it is... 
I recommend it to all romance lovers... ^_^
P.S. Now that I've finished reading it... it's really sweet ^____^

Wonderful, just wonderful.
A perfect mix of romance and comedy, with a very deep and strong plot.
The ending is just beautiful. I'm only disappointed that it was so short. I hurts to have that good feeling you get while reading this end after two volumes.

This is a great series i jus wish it was longer. Really, an 1 of a kind plot. Too bad the spin-off isnt that great.
