This volume deals with interesting topics and it was hilarious in its own way. I don't know why someone said it was uncreative and unoriginal (unless I haven't read that much shoujo mangas yet), but I would recommend it all, especially beginning shoujo readers.
Can i just say how much I love, love, love Nakahara Aya? God, all her stories area always so great. This pack of oneshots made me laugh so hard at times I bust a gut. Cute, sweet, and best of all, entertaining and refreshing. Each protagonist is also very likable. Loooove it!
I actually found this to be quite unoriginal and uncreative. The stories did deal with pretty interesting topics, but in a very typical, cliche and boring way. Now I'm not saying that it was bad, just boring.
This is one of her early works before Lovely Complex, and you can see her drawing style is still a bit green and a bit awkward, even generic in some places, unlike LoveCon: the level of characters' faces and expressions range from ok to very funny/touching, and, boy, arent' those feet big (Ai Yazawa-style big. Gokinjo Monogatari, anyone?) Story-wise, the first one-shot itself features a cute plotbunny with a twist ;P (a very similar concept, but with reversed roles, can be enjoyed in a scanlated one-shot titled 'Chupa!' ,by Ueda Rinko ^^ ). The characters could have been handled better (especially the boy seems to act way too mature), but it's still a pleasant, entertaining reading. Casual readers may not find anything special in it though. For LoveCon fans, like me, it was a very appreciated chance to peek at Nakahara-sensei's beginnings.
