2-3) Anya no Tsubute Sequel to Bi no Isu
4) Tokage to Chutsugai Emiri is impotent, thanks to his trauma of being molested by his childhood friend, Fuyu. Years later, Emiri is finally seeking treatment for his condition, but why is Fuyu wearing that white coat?! And why is the nurse's skirt so short?
5) Seiritsu Shinai Asa What will happen years later when senpai and kouhai meet again? Is loving someone that frightening?
this is SO flipping hot, sexy, and steamy- I can practically feel the lust emitting from the pages. Although TBH I'm only talking about the first couple, Kabu and Nirasawa. The opening scene is a bit surprisingly, if you're not too keen on bondage, but we quickly learn that the captive and capture-er have some intense feelings for one another..heh heh. Okay seriously I don't know what else to say, but that i just love this couple. Love the yakuza setting (danger, passion, fear), love Nirasawa's loyalty, love Kabu's fear of his love toward Nirasawa, and the sex is SO.HOT. Oh, and the art is gorgeous. Make sure to read the sequel to this couple which is currently being scanned as well
Not only are the scenes super hot, the story is freaking sweet. I love how Nirisawa is such an M. The of twisted story with all the hardcore themes make it one my favs. Sexy yakuzas and toys anyone?
Ike Reibun is amazing- so versatile, with consistently awesome art. The characters are drawn so amazingly well. The emotions and the detail put into them is so apparent and amazing. Plus, the character designs really fit- you know when you read some manga with an older guy, and he looks like 16? Well, not so here- Kabu is rugged and masculine, and Nirasawa is pretty dang hot, too, haha. This is pretty hardcore and has a lot of heavy BDSM, smut, and darkness- so if that's not up your alley... read this anyway, haha, maybe it'll convert you. It's very intense, and the yakuza seem a lot more real than anything I've ever read. Of course, I don't actually know anything about yakuza, but this is closer than some, I bet. The only regret or complaint I have about this manga is that it was definitely too short- I wanted more of the main story! Also, this isn't just smut- you actually really sympathize, and feel with the characters (Kabu and Nirasawa's relationship actually tugs at your heartstrings), and they're not simple; they're realistic in the aspect that you feel like they actually think, and feel. I totally recommend this! It's great- it's smexy, and angsty (although not irritatingly so, and it fits in really well with the whole vibe of the story), not to mention, the art is wonderful, and the story is addicting. It's also got some cute, funny light-hearted moments to break up the dark parts, which are well-placed and greatly appreciated. All in all... just read it!
When troubled youth Nirasawa left home, he was taken under the wing of senior yakuza member Kabu. Years later, Kabu realises that Nirasawa is not only willing to die for him, but is also madly in love with him. Kabu rejects Nirasawa, and comes to regret his decision when he is obliged to torture his former protégé for valuable information. But no matter what’s done to him, Nirasawa refuses to break.
I imagine for a certain type of reader the warnings above would be an attractive proposition, but personally, they just squick me. That, and the fact that Ike Reibun’s art in this tankoubon is not just extremely graphic but is also realistic, made reading the first chapter of Bi no Isu difficult. Nonetheless, this is the first yakuza manga I’ve read in a long time where I actually believed the characters were yakuza.
In yaoi, the yukuza tends to be softened for the uke and they appear way love struck and so this manga brings it all back down to what yukuza should really be like because they do what they need to and dont take nothing from no one. This rather realistic-ish potryal of it made it all the more sexy and thats why i enjoyed it so.
the first story is very hot. im kinda scared of the uke, if this continue on he can become a full blown yandere lol. he is just not right on the head.
the second story, well just cause you love someone doesn't give you the right to rape them. but their master-slave relationship is still hot!
the last story is a bit of a let down after all the dangerous smexyness in the other two, but quite sweet nontheless.
anyway, the clean artwork is very nice, and all the characters look appropriately beautiful. however, i don't like their necks cos it look...a bit thick? i am just too used of lollipop head in manga i supposed. anyway, read if you like unequal relationship!
LOL AT THE SMALL PENIS, JUST SAYING. [[ chapter 4. ]] I love S&M and stubborn semes if you're the same as me, I totally recommend chapter 1-3 the art was perfect. the translation was smooth (thanks DP ♥) the story was great, sexy & funny. xD at least for me. anyways, it's a good manga
I don't usually like the sort of abuse featured in this manga but for this story it works. Maybe the redeeming factor was that the seme himself knew he was being a prick and couldn't understand why Nirasawa would love him. The lack of lovey-doveyness is also refreshing to me. It makes it somehow more realistic and fitting for the yakuza setting. And amazingly the story still manages to be sweet and touching. The whole story is amazing considering how short it is. Also I must say I was happy to notice that in the sex scene Kabu actually didn't have the usual stoic face of the average tough-guy seme. As for the second story, not really my thing... But this still gets a 10/10 from me.
To be frank, Bi no Isu could have used greater plot development, but the romance element was there. It was slightly realistic, if highly dramatized. (Did anyone notice how the father pulled his mistress in front of him to block the bullets, and yet she thinks that he was trying to save her and asks after him?! Well, it is a yakuza world, and I would expect them to care more for th boss than for themselves.)
the main story 'bi no isu', I gave that one a 10! Basically because it's just my fetish: macho, beard, sadistic Yakuza (but still sexy in a way) x super loyal assistant! xD It reminds me of my fave couple in Yuki Shimizu's Ze, Genma and Himi. The uke seems weak and meak but actually he has a VERY strong character, I dare to say he's even stronger than the seme. The only bad thing about this oneshot is because it's too short! If only Ike Reibun sensei have twitter I might flood her mentions with requests to make another story about this couple, hopefully one full book. Officially my fave couple from Ike Reibun's works aside from Ryou x Konomi in Not Equal.
