This is definitely one of my favorites by Yoneda Kou. There's something about the story-telling, even though the plot itself is not that new and unconventional. Still, the characters are just adorable, the art a straight 10 out of 10, there's not one single thing I would change but the its length: it deserved to be longer. I totally recommend if you're in for a sweet tale of school boy love, with sometimes hot, sometimes funny, and always lively characters who will melt their way into your heart and make you smile just for the heck of it.

It's amazing how she can fit so many emotions into a mere 39 pages, one of my favourite manga. I wonder if she has experienced something similar herself to write this, or maybe the translation I read was just beyond the original, in any case, it is a wonderful work.

Uwaaah this is sooo.... adorable! That's how you love someone in the cool way...
Its romance makes my heart beat and took my breath away like none of shoujo oneshot ever did...
Aaagh for shounen-ai, Yoneda Kou is definitely my favorite, along with Kyuugou!
I really love the melancholy atmosfer in their story...

This was the first Yoneda Kou work that I ever read (it was around 3-4 years ago) and I fell in love with her story telling and art style! If you liked this or at least found it passable, make sure to check out the rest of her works (she only gets better with time...)

This oneshot is not lacking anything to make it better than it already is. Okay, maybe I would've loved to see more about them, but that's okay. I love the way the characters interact with each other and their chemistry. I love every single character and they were developed beautifully in such a short amount of pages. The only disappointing thing was, as I mentioned, the length. I wanted more by the end, but I still highly recommend this oneshot as well as other of the mangaka's work.

I personally really enjoyed: "Don't Stay Gold" and it's prequel: "Tadayoedo Shizumazu, Saredo Naki mo Sezu", and "Doushitemo Furetakunai."

The reviews were so great, I decoded to read it immediately. Well, I wasn't disappointed! This is actually quite a common story, but it's so sweet in some way that it just made an impression.

I kinda knew the plot from the beginning, but it had me fooled for a while there and even knowing the outcome too, I enjoyed reading it. There's no way I couldn't! Kugou's just so adorable, the way he closes the door to hear Usui's feelings almost desperately, like if it hadn't been at that time it would vanish. Got me smiling ll the way~! And...I really do think Kugou's cool too =X
Oh, and for some reason, I find it angsty, which I love.

Yayyy really nice. I loved all the characters, I loved the art - especially the kiss scene. I thought the length of the story was great and it was fine how it was, didn't find myself wanting anything more.
I was worried that the guy who had a secret crush - *definite spoiler ahead* - may actually have been in love with Nakaya first like the description said but no it was how I expected, he was actually in love with Kugou all along.
So all in all, a perfect little oneshot.

GAHH!!!!!!! It's so HEARTWARMING! Makes me feel all fuzzy and warm inside. This is why I love Shounen-Ai so much more than Yaoi. It focuses on the important stuff and has a better storyline as well. It's also more realistic, no girly looking (seriously, most of the ukes in Yaoi look like girls!) people here!

The story isn't revolutionary, but that's not really what matters here. Its characters are lovable and you can't help but root for them to find happiness together.
Unlike many one-shots, it doesn't have that shallow, to-the-point feel. In fact, I feel the characters are more grounded than those I have read about in many yaoi
It's the kind of story you can read over and over and yet still feel its heart-warming effect.
I wouldn't say it's my favorite BL manga (though possibly my favorite one-shot), but on a bitter day I wouldn't mind a story this sweet

Refreshing and cute, it's a story about innocent love. Pure romance about two guys (which probably makes it even more adorable) The awkwardness of the characters just adds to the charm. It it a rather basic plot, but it's a nice oneshot to pass the time with. Totally cute. xD
