Alice Seno seems like a normal girl in high school. She's a bit shy, she's got a crush on a boy named Kyou, and she's got an older sister who is more popular than she is... pretty normal stuff, until Alice has an encounter with a mysterious and magical rabbit girl that changes the course of her life, and Alice is introduced to the sublime power of the Lotis Words.

not so bad at all!
I must say that the picture they display here isn't really provoking me to read it. But..I thought, what the heck, and it wasn't bad. I might even go as far as to say it was pleasant and not so cheesy at all (like zettai kareshi, omg, that's..kinda lame). Liked the idea of words conveying power

Yet another great story by watase-sensei
what can i say ?? watase is my First mangaka ever !! Alice 19th is one of her great simple plots made till now!!
its a must read story!!
Probably One Of Yuu Watase's Best...
After reading a bit of Ceres and Fushigi Yuugi, I got really tired of all the unrealistic and cliche melodrama Yuu Watase put in them. I'd be reading it thinking to myself, "Oh come on, she gets raped again!!?? Give me a break..." or "She's having *****'s baby? Ughhhhh...." I guess that's why I enjoyed Alice 19th so much. You don't feel like you're tapping into a soap opera when your reading this series. I also really liked the chemistry between Kyo and Alice. The art is cute, and the general plot was creative. For me, it was worth the read.
I was hesitant to read this (the ratings for this series were so-so) but the comments were full of praise, so I went for it. But, ughh, after reading some of it, I had to stop since it was way too annoying. I won't rate it since I didn't read it in its entirety (I just skipped over to the last couple of volumes only 'cause I wanted to know how the damned story ended).

This manga was nice, I liked it. It was kind of weird some parts didn't seem really realistic to me (the characters emotion wise) but I have to admit I loved it. The art was nice (not sloppy like some other mangas) and I would definately recommend it to anyone. ; ]

All for the guys.
The non perverted escape to Yuu Watases world of hot hunks. I personally get put off by ecchi and erotic scenes and whatever not. Still young, i stick to the memorable kissing scenes. It was cute and sweet, in short. She endorsed the characters to develop their feelings. Definitely worthwhile. And her art? Better than ever.
Alice is one of Watase-sensei's not annoying main characters. Amazingly enough.
This was actually the work that made me want to read more shoujo and work done by the same author. It's a good example of how big an impact words can have on people I highly recommend this! It was the first manga series I actually finished and at the time I called it "the best manga series I've read"
It's my one and only fantasy manga (expect for the mangas of Tanemura Arina and Tokyo Mew Mew). But... when I read this manga, I realised, that I dislike fantasy mangas (expect for the mangas of Tanemura Arina). But I read it till the end. And it's ok.
well i can just say it a wonderful story haha i agree it better than the OLD fushigi yugi this is better and FYGK
It's your very typical manga. It's very cute and is not bad if you like to read about romance and don't mind the fantasy and how it's like other mangas. I had a good time reading it I think but it didn't leave a big impression on me seeing how I completely forgotten what this manga is about but since I finished it i assume it wasn't a completely horrible manga
