Description
Chiba Prefectural Satomi High School has a very strange soccer team. Despite being made up of complete misfit first years, they managed to get 4th place in the national high school championship. From shut-ins to Yankees, most of the team members are not what you would call normal. This story begins at start of the 2nd for all the original team members, when they introduce yet another misfit into their group, a very tall 1st year who is terrible at head butting the ball!

I wish it was a bit longer. It didn't feel like it had ended.
Other than that, some of the characters [and their habits] reminded me of characters from other series.

I really like this manga because its not that typical soccer manga. I pretty much read all soccer mangas and its really nice that i come across this. I'm really sad that its ended and hoping there will be a sequel (i heard it got drop). The art is great and each character is kinda unique in their own way. The plot flows perfectly and it won't keep you bored as some sports manga do.

I really don't understand japanese audience... No, really, what did they expect to see in a a sports manga? skirts and tons of fanservice?

...that it already ended. I liked the series very much. It was funny, the drawings were pretty good and it had a lot of interesting characters...
I hope it gets picked up by another magazine but the chances for it doesn't seem to high ...

I think it should be more cause it's very fun. I want to know how they will win while they having fun.(because all sport manga I readed they win but sometime they seem to not have some fun while playing)
I actually pick this one up since I was bored and waiting for other releases. Do I regret it? Heck no! I love how the plot is already! I find it refreshing how every character have their own way of playing soccer (or football) and they aren't out to overshadow their team mates. (Cause that's tiring and boring to be truthfull) I can't wait to see the future work for this manga! Diffinetly a manga to pick up and read!

I really like this series a lot so far. The team is filled with interesting personalities. Funny and a good read. Love the captain's personality the most xD Hope it keeps going for a while.
well, i knew it was a WSJ manga before reading and i thought: "well, i`ll just have to wait and see what happens with it and if it goes over 30 chapters, i`ll read it" but i just liked it the first time i saw it... keep in mind that i`m no football freak and i choose seinen over shounen any time of the year... hope WSJ won`t tear this series apart... >_>
XD! It's cute. It's nice, the team has accomplishments beforehand, which is something new and something I look forward to reading more about. The captain, though short(-.-) has amazing skills and I like his spunk!

The first thing that I noticed when I was reading "Meister" was that it wasn't the typical "soccer boy goes to a new school" manga, there is no new team to form, and the team has already achieved something. It looks promising, I hope it will be.
