Description
From Entropy: Jin Young is a good student with good grades, but she has a little bit of an unstable mind. Hye Jung is a cheerful girl who helps out at her mom's "snack shop", a sort of small restaurant that offers light meals to diners. Both attended the same school, and both transferred to an independent-study private school, where they meet Si Hyung who is an instructor there. Si Hyung used to live in the same neighborhood with Jin Young when they were young, but he's surprised how Jin Young has changed into a cold person.
This was a good manga. I don't think that it was hard to follow at all. There were quite a few flash backs but it caught one up to speed rather quickly. I thought this was a very well done story and the art made it flow.
This story retains a sense of mystery and intrigue until the end. The character relationships are rather predictable, but is nevertheless different from the usual shoujo cliches. There isn't a lot of angst or highly-charged emotional drama, so I find it a lot less irritating than most of the manhwa out there.
The art is of the commonplace Korean style, but it matches the mood of the story well.
For a short read, Cat and Bird is quite a good choice. Don't expect anything magnificent, and you won't be disappointed.
the art was beautiful. The plot was very interesting and I really like Hye Jung's personality. Anyways, really different and refreshing, and I thought it was actually realistic, like I could actually see each event happening and understand the psychological trauma. The only thing was that it was confusing sometimes... at some angles Jin Young looked like a boy, and the names are so freaking similar and you can't tell who really likes who.
[edit by mod,WARNING: Possible spoiler] this manhwa is one of the nice shoujo manga that i rarely read.i read this manhwa is because i want to read some psychological theme manga.and found this.at first it's a bit confusing.but then the more i read the more interesting it become.what makes this manhwa really interesting is because it has shoujo ai undertone in it.if you read the manhwa you'll know what i'm talking about.i'm a shounen ai/yaoi lover but i'm not really interested with shoujo ai but i'm ok with it.but suprisingly i really like the story between jin young and jin hee.what is still confusing me who jin young really like the most at the end.
