Not sure what the story behind this story's rushed ending was. If it was because it was discontinued then its greatly unfortunate.

I think the first half of it was really interesting, from the characters, the concept behind the series' magic etc. There's even an explanation to why the protagonist was dense romantically, and the way its done in this series doesn't feel stupid like some other rom-com series out there. That is until what I consider the halfway point, after that it just felt like like the series tailed off into a very generic series.

As mentioned before I don't know the story behind the rushed ending, but it did feel like the author had to go a different direction from where the story was intended slightly. Perhaps he was pressured into making something more generic, we'll probably never know.

Series started off really promising. It was rather unique (ish), characteristics and personality traits weren't over done for the most part. Concepts, theories and back-stories used in the series were pretty interesting. After around half way it just kinda decided to turn itself into a cookie cutter manga series. Could've been amazing, but just turned out... decent.

Definitely worth a read despite my complaints. Awesome "first" serialization (as far as I know?) for the author.

Well its a good plot, and put together fairly well, but still pretty average, its hard to understand in places as well and the ending p*sses me off, but all in all a good short manga so 8/10.

Also NightAir's comment pretty much sums up my feelings towards this manga aswell

Was funny, was interesting(at first at least). but well, you just felt that it wouldn't be a long run. So, seeing as it's a relatively short story, I recommend it for its drawings and well-enough-thought plot ~

It started off nicely, had some nice ideas and interesting characters. (At least the ones the mangaka didn't forget about halfway through)
One chapter introduces a new character, in the next starts the anticlimatic, rushed ending which is the main cause of the low rating from me.
It kind of gave the impression like if the mangaka had to end the series earlier than he had intended to, almost as if it got axed.
If you're fine with axed series (unlike me) I suggest giving it a try

i had high expectations for this, but it has fell completely short of its potential. the premise was promising, but the overall execution seems half-assed. i still think its worth reading, just don't expect too much out of it like i did. overall it's decent, but disappointing because i think it could've been much better

it's a Magic manga but no crazy lets-save-the-world battle yet although that might change soon. The story progress nicely and setting a good background. It's staying rather mellow with a few ups and downs time. I feel that this has a lot of potential. One of my most favorite magic manga right now.

The very relaxed and sort of go-with-the-flow male lead? I like him. I guess it's because it really irks me with all the useless, OMGPRETTYGIRLBLUSHBLUSHBLUSH types of male characters. But "Master" seems to be a very calm, mature and vague individual. The way Konoha tries to get Ikumaru to fall in love with her is very endearing of sorts, and I like thinking of Ikumaru as the big brother type (he actually is). The art is very nice to look at, and the characters aren't all over themselves and over the top. The story seems to be developing into a typical, self-contained story - so none of that random jumbo, I think. There are some light-hearted moments, humorous ones, but it's all very likeable.
