The world is ruled by Yulia's prophecy, known as the Score. People believe in the coming “unprecedented prosperity” promised in the Score, never straying from the path set forth in the Score which will lead them to that prosperity. They look to the Score as revealed by the Order of Lorelei, the religion Yulia founded, and hold that the greatest virtue is to follow the Score faithfully.
Yulia's Score tells of a young man who is necessary in order to bring “unprecedented prosperity.” His name is Luke fon Fabre. An heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear, he was kidnapped as a child by the kingdom's enemy, the Malkuth Empire. Since his return he has been confined to his family's manor for his own safety. He has no idea of the evil that now draws close.

Confusing but least for a while.

This manga/anime was a nice adaption of a RPG game.

I personally got sucked into the story so much that I was talking to the computer. LOL However, the manga soon spun way out of control, and moved too fast for me to sympathize with the main characters.

Not too bad a manga version of a video game. Like others of this category, the story seems rushed and the plot doesn't completely connect. This is a manga that is best read if you have already played the game. Art is alright but because I'm bias I prefer the game art smile

Fonon is actually another way of saying phonon, which is part of physics. Sound and vibration plays a big role in the game and phonon translates (from the Greek word phone) into sound.

Well, I personally think fonons are okay. I mean, just takes a while to get used to them. I think playing the game actually help the understanding. Though, the problem is, when you REALLY get used to it, you might say "Fonons" when your saying element in the real world. And people just stare at you. The Game graphics look a little bit better then the manga,

Why wont they keep the old word Element and be done with it? Fonon, fonon, what the hell is fonon?!

Then again, this is a manga following a RPG. They love to spout new words, those RPG makers.
