Description

The first chapter, the only one with a smut. It was cute, funny and fluffy. Kingstones worked very heart to catch Miller’s heart, only to be rejected once again. Poor him lol. The second was cheesy but the end is hilarious. The third was also funny and wonderful. A big “kid” being a big kid while chaperoned by his beloved. The fourth was okay and had a fun twist at the end. The fifth was so hot that I love it the most! God, what was going on was on turning, followed by extra chapter turned into a kinky fun ending. The last story was also hot! This introduces more new characters that I lost counts of how many couples in this series. Can’t wait for more!

I love this series' continued use of occasional 4th wall breaking jokes, like when a soldier checks a previous volume of the series to find out another solder's first name. This volume's double entendre phrase is "interrogation." In most romance comedies, series of misunderstandings are contrived & annoying, but here they're like a building joke with a nice payoff.

In a series where everyone is either bi or gay, this volume said "hey, one of our characters is straight. We should at least attempt to remedy that," & Erich Miller, who claimed to be straight in the previous volume, finds himself pursued by the enemy in a way no heterosexual soldier wants to think of. Oddly enough, straight boy here is the immaculate Mom-like type with stereotypical feminine traits like being a clean freak & a good cook. With Kingstone being the Lord of Slobs (& all around unluckiest guy in the series), it's kinda like a gay WW2 retelling of The Odd Couple.

One story is about a very tall soldier who is sensitive about his age & has an amusing mother-son relationship with the officer he has a crush on. Another story involves spies, blackmail, & surprises. Another story focuses on a couple around the same age/build/height (rare for Mizukami) who's conflicting schedules are putting a serious kink in their love lives, then along comes a superior officer to replace the kink with kinky. In another story an officer with terrible eyesight is kidnapped by a mercenary who hides his glasses.

Okay, you need to know that this is kind of a series, but all the books have different titles. Read them in this order:
*Koutetsu no Daitenshi.
*Datenshi ni Sasageru Uta.
*Daitenshi: Harem Nights (62 page official doujinshi).
*Datenshi ni Sasageru Uta: Family Visit (18 page official doujinshi).
*Doutei Saizensen.
*Bed no Shita no Himitsu.

OMG! I wish my chief was as nice to me as Mr. Kingstone to Mr. Miller ))
And I wish with all my heart that all the wars were just like that ^^"
This manga is truly great, very funny, very sexy, very cute! And absolutely not stupid (as far as the comic manga can be)

Good, but not as good as its prequels

Unexpectedly, this one had significantly fewer and less steamier sex scenes that its predecessors. However, I thought the stories were not as engaging and emotionally satisfying. The best one out of the three mangas is Datenshi ni Sasageru Uta, imo.

Army Fantasy Smut at It's most Lush!

Oh, Mizukami-sensei, thank you for your fantasy army smut!

I love her works in this genre! She draws such dark and mysterious men and such ethereal and beautiful partners for the them. There is always a little bit of kink (sometimes a lot) and a fun, twisty story plot that included danger, anger, laughter and always a happy, sticky ending.

All of these short one shots revolve around the men that follow their leader, the seme in Datenshi ni Sasageru Uta, so it gives you a nice rounded--if erotic--universe! Even the enemy is too busy lusting to actually have real fighting.

And my gods! The way she draws water-intimacy!
