At first i dont really like the story. I can't accept in the beginning where Kaoru is so promicuous and would do everything to get to his goal. It kinda not make sense to me. But as the story progress, i grow to like him more. I really admire Ryuugo. He is such a good guys but i dont see how he would come to love Kaoru. I guess it probably started from a pity he has on Kaoru? The uncle couple is also very cute <3
This manga is not very great, but is likable to read : )))
What a messed up story! When they started explaining who was related to who, it made me do a 180 and start again from square one.
I'm not gonna rate this one. Because I can't make up my mind.
Oh, and my favorite part of this manga was the one page omake at the end. Made me lol. Ah, the omake made me feel so much better after reading those overly-saturated psychological chapters. *o*
the description given is very misleading as there is nothing particularly interesting about the two main characters. the story is not focused and there are too many side characters. the sex scenes were boring because there was no passion really brought out. on the whole it is passable but it lacks the qualities to make it memoriable. the art was not particularly eye catching except for the front cover. if you are looking for quality i suggest you don't look here.
this story is supposed to be deep and emotional... but it is not. just like how the person before me has said, there are too many side characters in this story which are distracting you from the main plot line. we are being forced to jump from one couple's story to another one while nothing interesting really happens to catch your attention. yes, we have a little romance and sex here, a little bit of action and mystery there but these are not good enough to captivate your attention. when I finally finished the story, I was left with a shallow feeling in my heart... I definitely won't try to come back to this story once again.
there's nothing horribly wrong with this manga... it just failed to pull me in. The manga description by DMP makes it sound like this story is about a fierce battle of wits between two men but that's not the case- there is no real competition between the angsty teenager Karou and the mysterious Ryuugo. It doesn't even seem like the two are that interested in inheriting the family name. Instead, the story is focused on the Kourenji Family and many secrets and ulterior motives of its members. The two heroes aren't particularly likable and I couldn't understand what attracts them to one another. Where is the passion? The sexual tension? Not surprisingly, this makes the already short and mild sex scenes even more dull. But like I said at the beginning- there is nothing glaringly wrong with this volume. I'm giving it a 6.
