Description

One stormy day, Ryouichi was wandering aimlessly in the wake of betrayal by his beloved who put him in debt when he suddenly finds himself in front of a tea house's door. After entering, he finds the teahouse has a unique atmosphere. After receiving lunch, Ryouichi find's himself indebted to the shop owner; forced to help with the chores. Turns out there's no such thing as a free lunch after all! Despite everything, he finds himself thinking that he actually wants to help...?

the art is cute here, and so was the story. it could have been compressed down and felt a little too long, but it was only one volume so i guess its okay. The author had a good idea- its just that they didn't have enough experience to really put everything down. Good read for a sunday afternoon.

This was only the second manga I've ever bought without reading first. The first one was a bust, so I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a sweet story with a good, easy pace. The character development is good and the story, though not hyper realistic, is not unrealistic. The way the characters relate to one another and the way their relationships progress feels right. Nothing is rushed or forced(minus maybe the ending, for me, but it still was not bad). I'm quite pleased.
