A mixture of fairy tales in the beginning. While I was reading this, I was reminded of Global Garden and Please Save My Earth when I was reading the tragedy part because of the emotions I was feeling. However, the overal storyplot is nothing like those 2.

I like the main character. Before, most of the mangas I read have the heroine who is trying to be the sweet girl who tries to help everyone and give off this "Innocent and searching to be perfect" aura. Oh no, not her. She's strong (stubborn), bad tempered, etc. Because of that, I can relate to her and follow her in the quest of finding the fairy garden. Sylvie and Julius (who you first meet when the story start) travels with her in the quest. Milch is perfect. She doesn't dominate the story nor does it felt that her character was neglected, even those she's the main focus of the storyplot. So I give it a 10 for character development.

The story feels fast pace, but that is good (Felt only fast 'cause I read it all in one go). No filler chapters and each chapter have something read-worthy going on that helps the story to keep going till the end. For that, it's a 10 as well.

So, pick this up and I grantee you that you'll love this as well!

Really sweet

This is the kind of story that makes you smile, cuddle up in your blankets and go "awwww! <3 <3" It's unfortunately a bit disjointed at times - sometimes things happen that don't make a whole lot of sense, and the Holy Light is a bit of a heal-all does-whatever-it-wants thing - there doesn't seem too be any real structure to the way it works. But overall, it's a sweet, romantic fairy tale story. Not long enough to need a huge time commitment, and not short enough to be shallow.

Cute and sweet

This story is a cute and fun magical-girl-thrown-into-another-world series. There are hints of European fairy tales thrown in and a fair bit of comedy in the drama.

I wish Milch (the little fairy) had more character - it turns out that
Spoiler (highlight to view)
her development is directly affected by Rina's emotions
but the tiny little girl we've been following around for the story is actually not that important. The central plot seems to focus around Rina and the relationship between her, Julius, and Sylvie, which is just fine because that is more interesting anyhow. ^^

I like the progression of the story as Rina's past is slowly revealed - the ending is very natural and really cute as well! I just wish that
Spoiler (highlight to view)
they weren't first cousins, that's a little icky.

There is a bittersweet taste to the end because
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Sylvie gets left alone and Rina's dad had to die thinking that Rina didn't like him and that he was to blame for her lost memory.
Still, this sort of thing makes the ending that much more touching.
