Itsuki Ringo (yes, her name means apple) is a high school girl who loves to study. She is somewhat tricked by her mother into tutoring the brother, Tsurugi Budou, of the guy she has a crush on, Tsurugi Minori. Budou is the 'rebel' type, so at first, Ringo is frightened a bit by him. But then she follows him one day to figure out what he does to skip their tutoring sessions. She finds out about his part-time job at a cafe. There she learns about the real Budou.
