Description

somehow this is familiar and when i was read i was 'ahhh i know thisss manga' lolololol yea tbh even when i was kids, im not kidding, even before goes to kindergarten i already reading a lot manga genres- and i remember i read few bl mangas back then (probably my older bro or my older sis manga's) but i still so innocent so when i reading or watch bl ( like gakuen heaven, gravitation etc.. or with bl hints anything like that ) or ecchi (like Nube, Love Hina, urusei yutsura etc) or even josei, or any other manga and manga that not for kids, i just like (`･⊝･´)? bruh dont blame me i just read my bro mangas- and thinking again i have a fujoshi tendencies since old times lolol

And besides that my opinion of this is i love this manga so muchh, even tho this is my childhood i seems dont remember the plot so i reread again, and they were so cute and this is hilarious too ಥ⌣ಥ

I read like one chapter. The art is above average (not gorgeous/exotic but still eye-candy) but that's pretty much the best you'll get out of this manga. The plot is very basic and cliched (very predictable as well) and the characters are not far from that. You've got your average pervert/creeper seme who

is completely head over heels for the uke who was, omg, the first to become his friend, thereby winning his love (where have I heard this motif before...?). And omg, what, the seme is also a flirtatious guy who sleeps around with prostitutes? Then, you've got your average "naive," happy-go-lucky cutesy has-some-"cool"-moments uke who ! the seme loves because of his smile (...) and who wants to rescue everyone "naively" because no one ever is like that in manga.

I read this manga as a way to kill time. I wasn't looking for something heavy, just a light-hearted guilty pleasure but I guess even manga can be too light sometimes. Read this is you have nothing else to do and don't mind a story riddled with cliches. Otherwise, if you're like me and you read this...

scene : uke needs the seme's help but he doesn't want to help, what? make a promise? gosh darn he's gonna make me marry him or something but after everything's over the seme just wants the uke to KEEP SMILING cue touching moment

and you cringe/saw it coming, then look somewhere else.
Sorry if I come off as overly sarcastic/flippant.

So I started reading this despite being on my wishlist for a long time. Well, firstly the art is not bad, pretty clean and the action scenes is nice as well but the problem is the characters. Itsuki especially. Although he said that he loves Hisame but why the heck must he visit brothels?! To release his desire?! Pfft. Trust men's word of love. It makes him look like a hypocrite more than anything.

As for the storyline, it was okay. Each of the chapters is different and refreshing, and very interesting tales but the humour is just....so-so. I didn't laugh out loud or anything. It seems like a gag more than comedy. But if you're bored and you've got nothing to do, maybe this might be interesting to you.

Hisame is an idiot

Like other reviewers said, I dont like Hisame. He is nothing special and kind of kills the plot. I wouldnt say its shounen ai. Its like shoujo with a girl lead but the story is more like shounen. And an average one of that. Very boring and forgettable. I gave it a 2 not 1 since Itsuki is likable.

I lilked the story overall, but Itsuki's character is not my favorite. Saying he's inlove constantly but visiting prostitutes in every town. Who would accept the feelings of someone who acts like that? I like Hisame, he's ok and I would have liked Itsuki better if he wasn't so promiscuous. Also Hisame is straight so it's kind of a hopeless situation for Itsuki x_o
I realy like the chibi Itsuki XD It's so funny.

Funny, lighthearted story

I like this story. It has somewhat of a plot, but the dialogue is just hilarious. I was hungry for some new mangas to read and came across this one. I like everything in the story especially Itsuki. He just cracks me up and is totally different from what I expected him to be. I thought he would be a serious type of person based on his eyes. I was so wrong. He's all lovey dovey with Hisame throughout the story, throughout each chapter and Hisame just rejects him. I also llike Hisame's teacher a lot. Ha ha. The only part that I didn't like about the story was that some parts was serious and then ended up light or rather it didn't have any serious parts at all! I don't know. Never read manga that goes like that. I rated it an 8 for catching my interest.

I gave this a try and even read the sequel, but honestly, it had not captured my attention like I thought it would have. If you traded Hisame for a female character, nothing would've changed, because his personality is exactly like all the shoujo manga heroines I've read about. Itsuki was cute, but Hisame kind of kills it for me.

I'll start by saying that Itsuki is very cute. XD.
The art is nice, but the backrounds are lacking.
Hisame is an annoying brat, and really, I don't see how anything tomantic could turn out with this kid...
He his a "goody-goody no kill" kind of character, and he annoys me.
His only redeeming factor is that he looks cute when dresses up as a woman.
And where the hell is the romance?... Like I've mentioned before, it probably won't happen...
Itsuki is cute and fun, but Hisame's idiotic character really takes away from the manga...
Cliches cliches... Sometime I feel like I'm reading a shounen here.

Worth a read, especially if you like some action and funny pervs. But if you're in it for romance, I wouldn't bother. Also, notice how Itsuki's expression resemble [m]Patalliro[m]'s....

This manga is really likeable. The characters are funny and well-drawn, and the interaction between Hisame and Itsuki is kind of adorable. The flashbacks to childhood are hilarious, particularly in regard to Itsuki, who really carries the story.

The only real issue I have with the story is that the utter and consistent obliviousness on the part of Hisame is somewhat annoying. It makes me think that any sort of romantic relationship between the characters would be on the basis of him just caving to pressure.

Overall, a great series. I hope the next volume comes out soon.
