Almost there

This was almost really good, but it just didn't quite get there. I don't think the ending was too abrupt and I think their relationship was confirmed quite thoroughly, but the characters were a bit underdeveloped. It was a little frustrating because they seem to be good characters with a lot of history and depth hiding in there, but we just don't get to see it for the most part. Their relationship also progresses hurriedly and it feels a bit unnatural. I did enjoy reading it anyway and although it sort of fell around average in quality, it absolutely has a different(better) feel to it than most.

Hmn so i had a few misconceptions about this series before reading it - the description is a little suggestive but has only the more basic bearings on the story itself. I have to say, this story is very easy going, and it tends to jump around a bit - at one point they may be talking about something, the next very suddenly the attention shifts. At those times i did, for a moment, feel i'd skipped a page, but no, its just the way its drawn/written. However, despite this and the sudden jump in certain parts of the story, its enjoyable and has a realistic quality to it in the relationships between characters. The only really negative thing i can say is that it ended far too abruptly - and i would have liked to have seen their relationship affirmed a little more clearly.
