----this was really sad and confusing at first... o(>.<)o i thought that he was going to leave the new sato.....but still; i wish my feelings for them being together were confirmed - confirmed; cause i was left speechless like "what the ?" even though they are; i'm still not content! but MADARAME HIRO <3 i love your stories; this one particularly touched my heart ! -if you didn't understand this story; then re-read until you do!- ---more-over; i think that madarame hiro did a really great job with this story because it was able to lure you in and keep you captivated with the art and the mournful storyline. -the main character Mei, is really troubled by his feelings for these "SATO'S" and is unsure of whether he loves the new one or not; only using him to relieve his feelings of guilt for "causing the death of the girl sato" and distancing himself from the "twin of girl sato," who he also calls sato because he claims to love them both; but the new sato arrives and he's unsure of whether he really loves this sato or not; but in the end; if you have a wild and HOTT imagination; (nothing happens in the oneshot really; but comparing to her other stories...) then you will be satisfied ... I'm speechless. Madarame sensei wrote such a complex, deep, and emotional story. This manga is really really great, tho I have to read twice just to get the clear picture of the story lol So i won't say much, just that I agree with all kurosu_yuuki has said I wanna add something but it's gonna spoil you who havn't read it yet so if you dont wanna be spoil, skip reading my comment below I think Mei also feel guilty towards the twins. Mei tried to keep himself away from the older Sato. The brother Sato also turns to Akira and use him, tho he actually love Mei. This is why even though these two have the same feeling, they didn't end up together; because both thinks only about themselves, using other people, and being dishonest. I find it sweet tho, that Mei felt that he want to love the new Sato because he's a very lonely person and he's a bit more honest than any other Sato. Yay, I'm glad to see Mei's point of view of the story! It'seven sadder. All I can say is that, as all of Madarame Hiro-sensei's characters, Mei is entirely screwed up, twisted, broken and disturbed. He has a complex of substituting people, which is why he called all of the important people in his life "Sato". I can't say anymore without spoiling, so I'll do it in that form, and I hope to have some feedback from the next reviewers, because, like all the other stories from this mangaka, it's quite difficult to understand. Spoiler (mouse over to view) From what I get, Mei met a couple of twins, whom he both called Sato. He then noticed that the sister was in love with him and had a relationship with her. But he also noticed he loved both the twins and that the brother was always watching him, in love with him too. Mei ended things with the sister in order not to hurt the brother, and she killed herself. Then he met MIsato, who's the main character for the prequel of this manga. From the beginning, he knew everything the boy was hiding and what happened to him, but Mei couldn't help falling in love with someone so lonely, and he then forgot the previous Sato. Did I get it right? Hope so!
