William’s mother is now tired of his fantasies and dreams of traveling to the east. He is in danger of getting married and never being able to see the wonders of the world! Through his friend Yan’s help, he sneaks on to a Dutch ship that’s heading for Nagasaki, Japan… But he doesn’t even know how long it will take to get there. Then, the ship hits a storm and William, trapped in his hiding place, is thrown overboard. He wakes up to find a girl with curious eyes standing over him…

Hey is it just me, but has the scanlators really dropped this manga? i mean its been ages since the last update... It makes me frustrated that such a good manga has no update.Though the original is almost 13 vols long, we are still stuck in vol 2... When are they gonna release the new chapters?If its really dropped, then someone should really pick it up...this manga is worth it.
i watched the korean live drama awhile ago, and to correct christina, i believe the drama's name is Tanma the Island. it was awesome! i skipped over this series before, but now i will give it a try 
It's great. The girl has a good personality. The series is rather humourous so far. But it also has a story feel to it. Things aren't just set up for the sake of playing to the audience. the story is unfolding at a good pace. It's more film-like but more humourous than a film would be.
The art for the humans are good and it's neat to see country living and the dresses. The backgrounds are usually beaches but they often fade. Also the sky has almost no presence in the panels.

HECK YES!!! They are making this into a korean live action drama....airing in 2009 sometime (Drama name: Tempted Again!) WAAHHH! I can't wait.
It started off quickly, probably in order to define the setting, but once he's on the island the real story unfolds. I like the characters; they're very well defined in terms of their thoughts and feelings. The art starts of seeming a little rushed, (as does the rest of beginning) but soon takes a turn for the better. (Right when the girl first shows up it seems to change, actually)
Gorgeous art? Check. Crazy-and-somewhat-deluded protagonist? Check. Humor? Check. Fortuitous meetings and shipwrecked bishounen? Check and check!
Honestly, this manhwa has such a great beginning. I'll leave a better review once I've read more of it. Many thanks to Entropy for bringing us this great title!

i can tell this is going to be a good one, the art is beautiful for a start and the storyline is interesting. can't wait for more ^ ^
