	Amazing but big contradictions

I like how the author is really strict with his/her characters. The follow through to the bitter end is refreshing and sad at once. What I dislike is the contradictions. Spoiler (mouse over to view) One of them: the silent observer comes from a planet where people don't need to eat or drink. Still he talks about his planet ending like Earth in the future.
