Fell asleep ==

Hmm I think it was boring to me cause I fell asleep while reading it, thus I skipped all the way to the last chapter, I like the ending surprisingly, it's short and sweet, just the right amount to end a story that won't let you crave for more XD so I think it was good. Well the fact that I slept is a major problem, maybe te story can be shorter or add more romance between the two leads, oh well something is lacking~

Loved it! The characters are fun (especially Hanada), the story keeps you on your toes, and while it's not groundbreaking originality, it doesn't have to be. It's charming in its own way and is definitely worth a read. Give it a shot!

Pretty Good

The heroine in this manga is rather fun. She's gorgeous, popular, and rich (and she knows it), but she's also incredibly old-fashioned in her thinking. She spends the manga dreaming of finding her prince, and hates the idea of kissing and holding hands before marriage. The manga takes pleasure in occasionally teasing her for her vanity and making her look foolish, while at the same time giving her plenty of moments to look cool and be beautiful, thus letting her live up to her reputation, while having a bit of fun with her.

The male lead, Kashiwagi is also a fun character. The son of farmers and a future farmer himself (he has a pet chicken), Kashiwagi is the exact opposite of the rich prince our spoiled princess has been dreaming of. Yet, he's also honest and kind, qualities which soon begin endearing him to the heroine. Kashiwagi runs "Team Kashiwagi," a three-person squad that tries to help their fellow students out (missions include: finding lost cats and fishing someone's ring out of the river).

There's lots of comedic moments in the series involving Hanada's efforts to get out of her engagement, avoid the pervert Watabe, and finally to reconcile herself to her feelings. Unfortunately, while the comedy is good and the leads are fairly likeable, a pair of unlikeable villains practically hijack the series out from under them. Most of the drama in the manga comes from the efforts of the student council president and the vice president to break up the lead couple. Most of the chapters, in fact, involve some scheme the two of them have cooked up to separate Hanada and Kashiwagi. Since I didn't care for either of those two characters in the least, having them continually show up got tedious. The manga probably could have spent more time developing the main pair and their feelings for each other rather than wasting pages devoted to yet another one of Watabe's schemes. By the end of the manga, the main pair still felt somewhat undeveloped for me.

Overall, however, I would still recommend the manga because of the lead characters, and because it's got some genuinely funny moments. smile

I don't expect much when I read this, since when I first start reading the first chapter, I already know the outcome of this manga. The main protagonist is denying her love for the male protagonist and eventually, love blossomed and all~
Quite a fun read actually. Her reactions are funny and the story is quite nice.

despite the cliche plot, this manga is really hilarious! I like the heroine-Hanada- despite being an obviously spoiled princess, she is pretty nice and knows how to protect herself. And Eiji is refreshing and off-beat.

I think Nakahara has become one of my favorite mangakas. Hanada has a good combination of romance and comedy. It's cute, sweet, funny, and the perfect length. I like that the male lead was pretty down to earth in his attitude. You can tell this was what Nakahara did right before Lovely Complex because Ran often makes weird facial expressions like Risa.

Definitely recommend this if you're looking for something lighthearted.

totally loved the first chapter of this manga, the characters are all great and you can't help but love their personalities. The female lead is no push over either and unlike many shoujo there is no love at first sight..

Wow, I really, really like this series. Just the first chapter has me hooked. The characters are all so vibrant, and they're actually really different from the characters in Love.Com. I was pretty surprised, because when there are awesome characters in a manga, the mangaka tends to use the same types of characters for different series. Kyaa, can't wait till the next chapter comes out~
