NOW, the story feels more complete! This was such a nice ending and I'm so glad that the author did this as it just makes their relationship that much more realistic. It's such a great ending!

It's been a while since I read the main story and truthfully it wasn't something special for me, I even forgot the characters and postponed reading this sequel for so long. The reason I read this today is that it keeps popping whenever I search for something to read and everybody says is sooo good. This story as well didn't do much for me, just not my kind of gentleness. But the ending came and I totally liked the last few pages, the plans people make to spent their lives together, the thought of time passing and the bitter nostalgia that comes with it... what can I say, these emotions touch me to the core.

It's a happy ending but I'm so sad (in a good way)

Such a gentle follow-up story (well, much like the prequel itself), with the same vibe and atmosphere. I'm not going to dwell much on the plot since it's not really the story that should be focused on but it's the character developments that are put in the spotlight. One might say this 2-chapter sequel is a bit cheesy, considering the following events, like it's a matter of course, but I personally find it quite fitting after the main story, and the characters feel just like a perfect fit for this type of story that could usually turn out rather corny.

Sweet, it's sooo sweet I'm gonna die! If you love Hana no mizo shiru, then you'll definitely fall in love with this! A beautiful heart-touching ending, probably the most happy ending I ever dreamed of... Realistic, but still romantic and sweet. Awww, I'm so satisfied~

I never actually saw that coming... (The ending I mean)
I never knew why I actually loved this series... I read it and it just became my instant favourite. When I went to Japan, this was the only yaoi manga that I searched for frantically. And yes, to this day, it's still my favourite. I thank the mangaka for ending it so beautifully.

I hope you guys reading this comment right will proceed in readingthe original series and fall head over heels for it just like I did.

Read Hana no Mizo Shiru first then finish it with this, cause it will make you clench your teeth and bawl your eyes out (well for some people). I thought it was a nice wrap up of the story. You can really see how Misaki has developed and progress but I kind of miss his cold side. Maybe this is just me but I think they get skinnier and skinnier each chapter... or they're just too skinny. The art is lovely though. I absolutely cannot CANNOT get enough of how the artist draws hair. The drappy-ness and softness of the art really does melt your heart. I've read a lot of BL and this artist is one of my favorites. Nice and heartfelt story that'll definitely make you remember.

First, I read Hana No Mizo Shiru and I liked it a lot, but it felt unfinished, then I read Hana No Miyako De (not part of the main story) and I almost wanted to kill myself because of the amount of sadness I felt T_T then I read this and the (not really lost) will to live came again! This was truly beautiful, it feels as if the love story that couldn't develop between Motoharu and Akira came true with Misaki and Youichi.
Ah...... it really made me want to cry because of the happiness<3 I wish the autor would make another one-shot or a continuation of this story but featuring Misaki and Youichi as old men, remembering their happy days or something. I would definitely pay the whole collection!
