From Chibi Manga:

One month ago, Nomoto Yukiya became a teacher at the small, countryside school that Beniko attends. He's very popular and she's very old-fashioned, but one day they end up walking home together...

Pacing was not an issue, though it definitely leaves you feeling a bit short, like years of your life passed you by and you didn't notice (eh can a one shot manga accomplish that?!).I liked how a time skip is handled realistically as opposed to being all peachy keen as it's generally depicted. Very enjoyable read esp coz the heroine's a level headed and confident yet conservative girl and the hero is very bishie like yet maintains a dignified presence throughout smile

What I love about this is that the heroine did not act like the usual heroine in love in most shoujo manga. No, she didn't act all love sick or had an undying urge of confessing her feelings. She was a shy girl who became more of his friend. The story was shown in a way that it was believable how the guy could have fallen in love with her. Plus, though it was a one-shot, the ending was not rushed. I loved how they met only after 5 years because the guy waited for her to be older. Wasn't he a sweetheart? <3

Just by looking at the cover I can tell it has a cutesy innocent love ambiance. The art style is what you'd expect from a shoujo manga but somehow it lacks distinction, it lacks style. Unlike with Aihara Miki and Obata Yuki, I can easily tell it's their work. The story progressed quite quickly but that's what to expect from a one shot. The plot itself is quite common though it makes you want to know what happened because of the characters' personalities (although it's really predictable). You're not missing out alot on not reading this but this is alright for a quick romantice one shot.

This is most certainly a shoujo one-shot, with all the problems the majority of shoujo one shots have. Too fast, too much happening in too few pages, not nearly enough characterization. And yet, I liked it.

I think the main thing this one shot has going for it is that there is some emotional impact - though the story has little depth, there is just enough that I was interested in the main girl and guy, and would look for other work from this mangaka.

There isn't anything special about this. But at least Beniko isn't one of those silly girls that go chasing after her teacher to get his love. However, the story shifts abruptly and I was kind of disappointed by that.

A very, very enjoyable read. The description isn't really accurate either, but it's good enough. It's a studentxteacher romance. It's adorable and sweet and lovely with some really nice art and a bit of sillyness. Definitely a read I'd recommend.
