cute read but WTF was up with the ending!!! everything was so slow in unfolding the romance and even the background history, but volume 10 was a completely rushed conclusion!!! it was so gosh darn predictable it was lame as totally killed the whole series for me :/

OMG Annoying! Even though I love most of her other works, this one is such a disappointment! I know that ALLLL her main female character possess the EXACT same traits but this one is too much and too annoying. She cheats on him, he forgives her like nothing ever happens. He talks to another girl and she goes ballistic. She's obsess with her dad (HUGEEE Father Complex). I have no idea why the main guy can withstand her. She goes and steal everything that has to do with her dad, making him do unreasonable things and he still doesn't even get mad. I don't get it. I just can't stand this one. Her other works like Gaba Gawa, Punch, and H3 High School is pretty good. This one is just annoying.

I finally continued reading it again coz I've had it on-hold for more a couple of years if not one...I think.
I got to volume 5 just awhile ago...and /sigh. It got so tiring so I skipped it and read volume 10.

I wanna facepalm. /facepalms. (lawl)
It took 6 volumes (over 30 chapters) for the truth to come out? Well...DAMN. o_O
So I don't know whether I want to go back to the fifth volume and finish it properly.
Maybe I'll wait for a few months or a year...I don't know.
But don't get me wrong...I love Takada-sensei...this work just seems...slow on the story-development. TOO SLOW; and comes the last volume, that's where you rush it. /sigh.

... because you won't be needing them.

It's high octane action bordering on the slightly OTT but delivered in such a self-knowing and good-humoured way you can't help but be swept along for the ride. Sure there are flaws and I agree with some of the posters below but I highly recommend this manga because it checked certain boxes for me;

(1) non-snivelling heroine who knows martial arts
(2) a shoujo hero that is definitely one of the better characterised ones out there with more realistic flaws
(3) a plot with plenty of twists (though I did guess where this was going after the third volume)
(4) VERY VERY FUNNY and never a dull moment

One of the best shoujo romance mangas out there and highly under-appreciated.

I just love this mangakas work because it's so refreshing to see the heroines since this is not your typical shoujo. I think the description is a bit wrong since she does not go for "celebrities" she is after one actors collection in particular and how it all develops is just great, funny and with a bit of smut too. This is certainly a must read, although i finished everything mostly in raw i would love to see the rest in english.
