Description
What is a sweet, soft-spoken girl (Ha Li Kang) to do when her brothers, having just learned fencing and martial arts, decide to test some moves out on her in order to "tame her" and make her into their "little slave?" She runs to her knightly friend (Te Hu Kang, not related to Ha Li) for protection, of course. However, what happens when, instead of comforting her, he tells her that she is a coward for running away like a puppy who needs constant protection? No, she does not break down and cry like a weak girl. Instead, she resolves to grow stronger. With rigorous training everyday, Ha Li goes from being a scared girl who cries for help to becoming the Jjang (boss of a gang) of the Doberman gang. However, events lead to Ha Li getting in an accident with a truck. Afterwards, she is reborn into the body of a beautiful, but weak, rich girl Aram Han.

At her new school, everyone is surprised at the sudden change they see in Aram, who has gone from a gloomy, good student to a rude, carefree troublemaker. Many people bully her. When Ha Li finds out that it is all due to Sin Uoo Park, the handsome prince and Jjang of the school who detests Aram, she decides to have a duel with him for the position of Jjang. What will happen next is for you to find out in this romantic comedy Korean manhwa.

Best manga

This is the best manga series I have ever read. Even though it was a bit long and I wasn't really use to the drawing style, the story was very well written. It had strong yet complex plot and never failed to catch my attention. There were a lot of twists and it never really dragged like some other long mangas. I love the heroine of the story who was so strong willed and completely clueless. Hot blooded woman was an amazing manga.

The reason I voted this so low it that it kept getting worse and worse and the heroine turned out to be someone I can't admire at all.

quite good.story develop in each chapters. interesting characters. too long - almost skip to the end "-_-. i read it prolongly n getting quite bored with the joke (but then when i continued it the day after, it still funny. hehe..). my advise for those who wants to read it -> just read 2/3 volumes per day.

Hot Blooded Woman had been one of the first manhwa I had read. It had me right from the beginning. Initially the characters might give off the warning signs for cliché and mediocrity for those that want everything dished out from the get-go. In a way it was. Haji gives off a cool aura but afterward it seemed to disintegrate. People are left wondering where that ice mama on the motor bike went. By paying attention to a certain mind reader's comments one can see where a character's personality begins and their facade ends. The characters shape the story.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I say facade but with Haji it's less of a facade and more of an unhealthy unwillingness to face the truth. It's as if she represses it for later despite it being implied multiple times by her closet friends that she's acting the whole time. The author just couldn't make that seem completely the case for me..

The art itself is pretty decent and even better considering the other works posted under the same name. I love it when the characters get a shadowy effect on their features which serves to point out their hidden intention or angst. For the most part they are distinguishable from one another.

Read it for the laughs than anything else. The romance won't do anything more than make you giggle. The relationships might give one a small thrill and they seem to zig-zap between humorous and borderline disturbing. Conversely this isn't for someone seeking gore, high levels of violence, or genius thinking, nor is it for one that wants an easy read. The conclusions aren't over the top and spontaneous which is unusual for shoujo genre. It touches on the higher thinking of an adult but never graps it.

Please note that I was much younger when I first read this. As a child I stayed up late at night to finish reading it. It made my head spin and my stomach flip. Older I still find it enjoyable but I can point out several things wrong. This is more touched upon in this site's user review. Also, I DIDN'T come across these observations AFTER reading the translator's note (or the review for that matter). It just cemented in my mind that others could come to the same conclusion. Others might disagree and that's fine and dandy.

This is not for everybody. It is violent and dramatic to the extreme. The character can be so incredibly stupid that she makes you want to beat your head against the first available hard surface. The story sometimes drags on a tad too long (but i must say that i was never bored).
That being said . . . i Loved this story! It was different and entertaining.
It was so funny! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt! I do admit that once the bodies were switched back it wasnt as funny (mainly because the bringer of death wasnt there anymore- i loved him!) However it was funny through out the series it just got slightly less amusing.
I LOVED the bringer of death's funny commentary and facial expresions! They killed me!
It also got WAY more dramatic after the bodies switched back. which is not altogether a bad thing but a little less drama would have been better.
The characters were very memorable and lovable. They were rounded and well thought out characters who you couldnt help getting attached to.
All in all a very entertaining read.

dont get me wrong if i REALLY LIKE a manga i will go to hell and back to read a new chapter and i will read 400 chapters and enjoy every one and not get tired of it. it wasent that this was a bad manga either. it was great! i loved the story line and plot! so even tho i knew getting into it i wouldn't finish it (cuz i dident have ALL the elements i like in a manga) i had to start it anyways cuz the plot was to allureing. the lead male gets on my nerves a bit. only a little bit tho. but it is saying a lot sense i love the jerk types in mangas usally but this guy isent a jerk he is just .... -_- it really is good but the drama is way to intense for me. i love a LITTLE drama but there are so many twists and such and im only on chapter 50. D: i dident want to be there when the author started getting desperate to keep the audiences attention and started throwing in REALLY crazy twists. the arts nice. plots great. its a good read if your into dramas

Plot - original. Very original. Actually, the first five volumes were probably the best and funniest things i've read in a while now. The drama is intense, but the drama constantly changes from topic to topic because of the characters and how they deal with the situations. Usually a bloody fight would be taken seriously but since they are all jjangs and gangmembers or whatever they just take it like they're playing around o_o its kind of refreshing though..haha. However, the plot gets boring after the second arch in my opinion....
Spoiler (highlight to view)
after she gets her body back... the story began to drag.

Art - poor...but I really enjoyed the story and I got used to the art after a bit. I actually really like it now smile It's an older style but the story really makes up for it.

Characters- probably the highlight of the story. It's one of the first mangas where my favorite character is the main female lead. She is not that smart, but she can fight for herself and she chooses to trust people by her own judgement (she doesn't blindly trust people). Usually the female leads are boring forgetable characters who blindly follow the guy around and always worry about everything..but Ha Ji doesn't cave into the common norm, she's happy the way she is and she doesn't even think about changing herself for the sake of others. It made me so happy to see such a positive female lead for once
Spoiler (highlight to view)
one of the things i love about her is that she is almost always optimistic. she trusts people because she chooses to, and when people questioned her relationship with Sinoo, she said "he approves, I approve. That should be enough". I love her confidence!

I also really like sinoo, although I lost interest in him
Spoiler (highlight to view)
after he and ha ji get together because he just becomes the "nice guy" and i also wanted to see him fight more often.
he was definitely more of a typical male lead. And Han Seo...man..I don't even know what to think about him without spoiling everything. He is completely complicated...:s I like him and dont like him..its a complicated feeling. But he's definitely an interesting character - and preferred over a boring character smile

Overall enjoyement - 10/10..the characters were fun and the situations were fun smile physical fights were more prominent than mental fighting (which happens in chick-dramas) which was more refreshing, i laughed a lot because of Ha Ji's stupidness.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
especially the hotel part..when she started swinging the lamp around and sinoo yelled "s and m??!??!" I died at that part hahahhaha

i really hate the mangas that have so much potential but then waste your time. the first half of the series was just a setup for a minor plot in the second half. the author did not tie up loose ends at all, i was expecting ha ji to reagain her memories of the entire first half of the series but she didnt, and i really enjoyed the first half when ha ji was aram. like some other users said, dont bother reading past when ha ji gets back into her own body. i was really dissapointed.
i give it a one because the mangaka basically erased everything that happened in the second half when ha ji gets into her own body. the ending sucked so bad i wanted to kill myself. just skip to the last page when ha ji gets her body back, its still gonna make sense.
