A boy and a girl are forced to join hands for all eternity!?
In a land ravaged by an epidemic known as "Troy", the only people with healing arts capable of stopping the seizures caused by the disease are the Sisters. Although they have a high resistance to the disease, they are searching for a person who is truly immune, so that they can find a cure. The main character is Sister Elraine, one of the Sisters who becomes infected with Troy. But, when she touches Kiri, a seemingly ordinary boy, her seizures stop. Could he be the one!?

In volume 1 is included the oneshot Island:

A story that takes place on the day Aira turned 14, and learned the devastating truth about the island she lives on, which is completely surrounded by a huge wall...

A Trip off a Really Short Pier...

I loved it...for a shounen series this was really original...still don't see wth they were thinking canceling this least the author gave us the smallest...tiniest glimpse into the was minuscule but at least i know
Spoiler (highlight to view)
They found a cure for Troy, 'cus that was obviously Ellie writing the story about's also funny how the author threw in that Kiri was in love with Ellie from the start...ha ha cute
BUT i was left with so many questions...the art was smooth and clean...though i'm still trippin' on how ridiculous Kiri's hair was...the laws of physics must be followed a tiny was like he was going Super Saiyan 24/7....
also i agree with melon-rune-freak maybe if it ran in a shojo magazine, it would have continued...ah the world may never know...all in all well worth my time...more so than some other series that are still running in the triple digits with no end in sight....(fill in your own blanks) much potential wasted!! BUT.... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Just found this on a thread discussing manga that were cut off while in publication. Considering that, it sure has a graceful ending. Komi Naoshi could easily pick up from later.

Even though it was cut off, still read it! It's good!

I can't believe this wasn't popular, though. Perhaps it was the art style? I don't know any manga with a similar style. I'm tempted to mention Kingdom Hearts though, because of protagonist's spiky hair.

This seemed to have alot of potential. The plot is the same, save the world sort of plot, but the hero and heroine's situation was unique. (I get this weird feeling I am going to start finding a lot of manga like this one.) I was mainly interested in
Spoiler (highlight to view)
why the villians made Troy in the first place.
I really do hope Komi Naoshi will be able to return to this manga. He managed to end it pretty well, (with the cancellation), but it left me with so many questions about what happened, who were the villains (can't help being suspicious), and does you know who die? We were about to go on a journey to discover all the answers and they cancel it! I'm very disappointed by this turn of events.

I would recommenced this manga to others because it is still a good read.

How on Earth could the jap. people not like that series? I mean it's well drawn the pictures are unique and the story is freaking amazing. It's a pity that no chapter will be scanlated anymore. But I'm looking forward for new series from the author of this series.

I think, as most people already mentioned, the ending is rushed due to the cancellation. But i think, it's commendable how he managed to make a decent end out of it.

Was rather interesting, would have loved to see how it would develop. There's much wasted potential but at least the end was done in a nice wrap up manner where answers to the questions posed were given.

How on earth could manga have been canceled? I completely loved it. It's only fault is it's abrupt ending. I pray the mangaka will continue this. I still gave it a rating of 10 just to support it. The production company made a huge mistake in canceling this. It was sweet and funny and unique. The mangaka still did a pretty good job to end it given the little notice she/ he had.

intresting idea, lovely & cute art, style of storytelling is slightly plain at times but mostly good.

I really like the art!! .

The characters are all very cute. Elraine is very cute at times, annoying at other times... biggrin
but i really like kiri the most biggrin he is so adorable.

too bad it is canceled =_+;
I am grading it objectively: the weaknesses of the manga is the rushed ending, varying standard of storytelling and annoying elraine bits. (-2)

This is one of the best mangas ive ever read. I really liked the description of this mangas but i put it off cause i saw that it was canceled. I finally decided to read it and now i truly understand why they made a petition at the link in the forums to keep it and why it is such a high ranking manga. This manga is amazing. The characters are really written and loveable, the art is nice, the story is top notch, and it makes you smile. This could be a really good read for both shounen and shojo fans. It might not be as flowery as some shojo that are based on romance, but it isnt all about action either. This is definitely a 10/10.

Dont put this off because its canceled. You will regret it.

I think this manga is promising to be a really good one. A normal shounen about good vs bad but the fact that the main characters must hold hands make it quite unique. Arts and comedy is also good.

It was canceled. The reason that it is released in Shounen Jump but it is about a boy and a girl instead of focusing to a cool male character, is totaly dumb, stupid... damm it...
