I dunno why people think this manga is terrible, i think it's cute and yea yea its got smuttish stuff from the bathroom to random guys groping her, but hey, one of the genres is smut and atleast it isn't so over-excessive in sexual intercourses like Renai-Shijou-Shugi (now theres something that u can bad-mouth). I really thought that the romance was adorable and look, some girls (most girls) fantasise about being liked by many bishies, what the hell is wrong with that? I think Love Monster relates very much to what most girls desire to get from hwat guys and for the girls out there, dont try to deny that you have never once thought some random guy or someone you know of but never met in person was hwat (just like the random students at the skwl). When they go to China, i liked how Kurou wasn't allowed to be with Osora although obviousli he wanted to be. This just showed the stronger love that they share and how they feel lost without each other. Look, those complaining it is too smuttish, think about it. They only ever "do it" in the final chapter and it never even shows you how they do it or show some pervy scene: It's Kurou's castle with Ahhhh and Osora out of it, ok? She does act helpless but can't you expect that from the girl who thought she was the only human in that monster school and even though she's the White Crow, she doesn't know how to use her powers properly and so BACK OFF. You shudn't expect some girl who only just figured out she was a monster and in a weeks or months declare that she will protect the world from the evil, although she does save the world in the end. It's a cute manga and i think it's something suited to read during the holidays or when you're at home alot.
This manga is tacky and fan-service-y towards epic proportions. I thought it to be rather gross and perverted. This whole manga is one huge excuse. The excuse is to draw men in wings and wolfish looking guys that seem to all magically fall in love with a stupid main character and use this premise to draw perverted scenes. I can't believe this was labeled as comedy even - this isn't humor, it's just plain stupid.
The only redeeming qualities of this manga are that 1) the art is pretty decent and 2) Osora (the main female) didn't immediately swoon when the man male said she was his fiance. In fact, she seemed pretty upset about it and constantly tried to ditch him. Unfortunately, since this is a bad shoujo manga, she did eventually fall for him.
It wasn't horrible until about the third time Osora was almost raped. I don't understand why the men at this school are so sex-starved and why they all concentrate on her. Osora is also dumb as fucking bricks, and not in an endearing way. The romance was hideously boring with a typical mostly impassive, stoic love interest, and the "monster" forms of the students are unimaginative.
What really prompted me to stop reading, though, was when Osora went full Mary Sue mode with her

I read this manga a year ago, and it was.......................................................................... Not 100% let's just say heh.... It was pretty stupid, she's getting raped all the time then becomes best buddies with the guys 'violating' her, and her fiance is a mega perv, and she was STUPID. STUPID I hate main leading females that always get sexually abused, and way to vulnerable, weak and dumb as a door nail. This manga is okay if you have NOT read the more amazing mangas 10x better than this, or if you like watching this kinda stuff... I guess since I've been more into reading NON immature manga, I just can't stand this as much as I did a year ago. Srsly, I consider moving on to a diff manga....bleck.
One word to describe this manga? BAD. Okay, first, the main character is just plain stupid, weak, troublesome, and one of the most cliche shoujo heroines I have ever read about. It's just...so repetitive, boring, cliche, and enough of the "SAVE MEEEEEEE!!!~~~~", just how helpless can you get? -_-;; I don't recommend it.
When I first read this manga, I thought it was so awesome. However, now that I reread it, the flow of the manga is too choppy. Even though the plot and art is good, the story doesn't really flow. I think that when I first read this I got to distracted by the art and immediately thought, "Wow, this is a really good manga." However, now I just think, "Sure the art is good, but the storyline doesn't really flow really well. I'm really not sure if I should continue this manga.
Forget what I said. This story is just plain horrible! After rereading it, I have concluded that this is the most unrealistic (not the setting cause that's suppose to be unrealistic) and strangest (not in a good way) manga EVER! The girl is liked by so many different guys its hard to keep count! She is "coincidentally" the mythical White Crow. Her fiancee is an all powerful demon who gets beaten up. She gets almost raped in almost every FREAKEN chapter, AND that's not all, the ENDING JUST PLAIN SUCKED!! I cannot even stress the fact that this manga was horrible, but I will say this, the art has not disappointed me. Sorry to all the people who like the manga, but I just don't like Love Monster. Period.
the first time i read this i loved it. it seemed to have everything i wanted and need. at the time i was a huge shugo smut fan a was on the verge of reading every shoujo smut baka updates has to offer (i officially have now) and this seemed to have all th elements i was looking for. at the time i was used to ditzy weak female characters becuz lots of shougo smut tends to have those type of characters. so it was great i loved it and it was very memorable but i know after reading all the smut and going on to read normal shoujo i could never read this again and like it as much as the first time. i tried once and i was very throw off by the whole thing so i just decided to keep the happy memories of this manga in my head and forever remember it the way i saw it when i read it the first time. so im gonna say its a great read. but overall i guess that is debatable but the art is great no matter what type of story you like and the lead male is hot as a mother
I like this series... and not because it reminds me of Black Bird either. But I do have to admit that they are very very similar. Besides that I love the artwork. Very much to my liking. Though there are similarities to black bird, I still like the story. Read it <3

After reading all the great reviews surrounding this manga, I picked it up and found it somewhat bland. This manga is targeted toward younger middle school level students reading their first smut. There were some nice heavy sex scenes and the male lead was pretty sexy/handsome, but the plot developments were so sudden/unrealistic I ended up skipping quite a bit. The main female lead is very annoying - probably the weakest lead I've ever seen (and usually a weak lead is not that big of a deal). She just acts like a baby, has no thoughts of her own, wears a puffy dress, and makes you dumbfounded that the male lead can actually love her. The series isn't horrible, but I got bored and dropped it in the middle.
