Mio is one of my favorite heroines. im into luke warm protagonists where she isnt too strong or too weak. i have seen MUCH weaker before and normal people that arent too extraordinary are okay. whoever thinks she's weak is probably going of the "shoujo girls strength scale". I don't think she's stupid to want her family to stay together. It's just heartless not to. I'm not gonna lie about the cliches there's a lot of them but i still love it. this was my very first smut and as of lately i decided it to re-read it and i still adore it even though i have more experience with manga. i liked the twists and it wasnt messy in any way to me unless you weren't reading it properly. it jumps a bit but i dont think there needed to be growth in certain areas because the main goal was to focus on the present rather than dwell on the past. I love the art too. this is personal interest but i love myself a megane and possessive lovers and i think i got it in this!

Of course I dont think that Prince should have been so mean and showed more love towards Mio but as far i know that's MY ONLY COMPLAINT. This is the manga that gave me my smut obsession, and i will defend it with any means necessary!!!!!

Sure, this is a manga where the guy is a so-called "rapist". Sure this is a manga with a rather dumb heroine and sure this is a manga with a rather absurd plotline, but heck, what do you expect, this is SMUT. If I must say so myself, it's a rather tastefully done smut. The two main character, they were not bad at all, seriously, I can actually stand the guy, which usually I can't at all in normal smuts. Even better, I can stand the girl, she is actually less dumb, and more realistic- NORMAL shoujo heroine out there, although I hate that she keeps calling the dude prince. I also liked:

the so-called incest in this (I have a incest fetish), so so badly want her little brother to end up with her, which was sadly a long shot.

Sure this manga may not be the sharpest tool in the shoujo shed (lol, funny), but like some others already said, if you read smut, desensitised your brain and just enjoy the absurdity of this wonderful world of smut shoujo mangas.

I remember reading this manga a long time ago...about 2-3 years ago? Though I thought it was called million dollar girl,(Totally different managa lol) So my review may be a little rusty, but I remember the main point of it. Basically poor girl meets rich boy and he throws money at her, takes her with him to live in his ridicously rich mansion as a maid I believe. He keeps pulling advances on her and she very SUBTLY refuses him. She slowly regains her memories which she has lost that were all about him. And voila they are in love! and of course a whole bunch of other crap ensues to tear them apart. This manga was REALLY good I mean it got pretty mediocre at some points, especially with the antagonists. But the romance was sweet, the designs were amazing, the couple were beautifully drawn. I just loved when the prince took of his glasses! lol It had a pretty good ending and left you either feeling satisfied or wanting more. I really recommend this!

I don't understand how people can give this a high score. It started out good but went downhill almost immediately. Characters are all shallow and simple with no depth, very one dimensional and plot is all over the place with no clear direction. Art alone is not enough to save a manga.

if you're looking for some good mindless shoujo smut, this is the place. it's "better" than a lot of smut around because it was able to sustain some type of plotline, AND because it rolls over on nearly all the romance cliches: master-servant, megane (glasses guy), childhood friends, even forbidden incest.
though the characters are ridiculously shallow compared to any serious romantic work, the whole series was able to survive for 7 volumes for a well reason.

I actually thought the first 18 chapters were good, but then all of a sudden the writer seemed to have lost her mind. Seriously, what the hell happened these last 30 chapters of the manga? I just finished it and I still can't wrap my mind around what she could have been thinking. This manga was completely all over the place, in regards to the plot and characterization. The manga was consistent only in its inconsistency, with characters repeatedly doing uncharacteristic things or suddenly changing 180 degrees for no other reason than to fit the current situation/storyline.

Skip this manga and go read You're So Cool (if you have to feed your inner satanist) or go read Full House which takes a lighter approach at a housekeeper/owner romance.

It was alright in the beginning, nothing to bad. But then it dived straight foward into a piling pit of cliches you never want to touch. I can't believe I didn't stop reading once the whole brother thing was involved. I was naive back then and didn't see how utterly stupid this was. Oh and the prince is just annoying. He's perfect and the girl is a frickin idiot. The only thing good was the art <.<

xD I have been reading this manga since 2005!! Really, I think I was the first smut I had ever read... And I have love it... I know than it's a really sick story, but I can't help it!! (And It make sad think it's over now u_u)
