Holy crap.. this manga is amazing. It's not angsty or deep but it was just such a good story and their relationship was beautiful. The characters were all useful and loveable and i just love how this manga isn't too cutesy and childish. Although she's a child, you're really able to see past that. It's amazing how much emotion this manga gives you! I won't spoil anything but man.. that was an amazing roller coaster of emotions. It's not light but it's not deep either and it really just demonstrates the whole concept of pure and true love. The ending

was very realistic. I usually don't like endings like this but for this manga, i thought the bittersweet finale just made it better. Flowers wilt but they're never forgotten and are always loved when they start to bloom again. Hana's death was tragic but it was breathtakingly beautiful.

I highly recommend this manga.
Simply astounding.

I CRIED.
I LAUGHED
I LOVE ALL OF THE CHARACTERS.
THE ART IS UNIQUE!

c: It's a great story! I remember waiting for weeks in pain(mentally) for the next chapter to come out. Lucky you, it's been scanlated already, so you don't have to wait! ^^!
The main lead,Hana, is a great person. I think it's impossible to hate her. C: she's strong, yet she has her faults (as does everyone), and you just warm up to her! Also, Vivi is a great lead! C: He has his secrets, and it took me awhile to 'approve' of him, but I loved how the author makes it like that! At first, I resented him a bit (for a few reasons I wont say), but then you warm up to him, just like you would in real life. C: I think that was very awesome indeed.

ANYWAY
*great plot
*great characters
*I personally love the art style biggrin
*and It's one of the mangas I actually remember liking and stuff xD I usually forget mangas after I've finished them.

It was one of the first mangas I read, and I have to say I'm glad it was. If I had read some crappy mangas in the beginning, I never would have kept on reading mangas. This is truly a great tale.

You must read!
Have fun ;} <3~

Alas, I went through my list and forgot to spare some time to HtA when it finally ended.
The story is obviously doomed from the start. A human and a demon. I never imagined it to be a love story, though, at the beginning. The demon found a baby at his doorstep... took care of it on a whim and the story sort of started from there. The story was long and a bit boring in the first few pages, but when the hint of a love story started to rise, the manga opened itself like a flower in bloom. Yes, consistent pacing, but it had the unique and fresh story that can make you wish its a few bits of pages more. A lot of the people who posted their comments here might have given out the spoiler already so I'll stop from there.
The art is not that great, but it will grow on you.
The only thing that made me cringe a bit was that nothing was mentioned about the Devil King at the end. But aside from that, its okay.
You should read it. ^_^

9 for this one. The ending is really unpredictable (like most other shoujos). Although a lot can foresee the leaving and coming back part. I give this serie only 9 cause the female lead is quite annoying. She's cute at some part, but her continual crying makes me feel kinda boring. Anyway, for anyone who loves shoujo, you should read it.

I SHALL BUY IT biggrin ... This manga left a big impression on me. The art isn't the best, but the story line is simply amazing. It was very dramatic and made you want more. I'm also glad that the author made this as realistic as possible even though this is a fantasy manga. I only wish it could have lasted longer though.

But I wish it showed those precious moments how the children grew up, Hana's face when she died, what happened to Momo and the former blood giver to Vivi, (i'm guilty that I don't know her name :x)
And what happened to the King? Did he die?

Overall it was a good comic book. I the author new one would be great like this one.

one of the few shoujo mangas that actually left an impression >.< i never once thought it was boring and every month that a chapter would come out I'd hurry and read it and wail when it's done and i have to wait for another month. anyway, the ending was very realistic, probably the most realistic I've ever read. Hana...

died, because she was a human and it made sense. and though she did die, the ending was happy because she had Vivi and two children. Hana died of old age and everything was just perfect
i rarely find something as good as this. if ever there was a kinda-long series i'm going to reread all over again, it would be this smile

Really refreshing and the ending was sad. I sniffled, but I didn't cry. The author could go along and give Hana some 'magic' potion for her to live longer, but she went ahead and went with reality: Every human has to die one day or the other. The character development was excellent (especially Hana) and the drawing is pretty good. Vivi also went through a lot of poistive changes. This manga is totally worth the read smile the only negative thing is that I felt the ending was a bit rushed? I would have liked it if the mangaka wrote a chapter or two on HanaxxVivi fluff. It's fluff, but it would have been nice. Anyway, both ways it's a good manga biggrin

I've put off this manga for quite some time now, as the image of him being 'in love' with a little girl made me a bit iffy. But as I started to read the series again, I became engrossed. It's a refreshing type of manga. A sweet, sometimes silly but heart-warming type of manga. All of the characters are lovable and it doesn't hurt that they all look extremely handsome/pretty too. However, I was a bit disappointed that the author didn't elongated the relationship between grown-up Hana and Vivi. I was looking forward to that the most. But it was a good manga nevertheless. And although the ending was a bit bittersweet, it left me feeling satisfied. I loved every bit of it. Hana To Akuma is easily one of my all-time favorite for its lovable content and I would recommend this for anyone who's looking for a light read, it's definitely worth it. In fact, I've already advertised this drama to all the girls I know haha.

I am amazed by how this mangaka was able to portray Hana's transition from a little girl to a young woman so amazingly. I really wish the ending hadn't come so soon and we would have been able to see how their romantic relationship transpired for a while longer. I guess I'm just a sucker for romance!
