Description
Kurokami Medaka, the strongest girl in Hanokiwa Gakuen (Academy), leads the school's student council. The student body can submit pleas for help, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, into the suggestion box that Medaka installed. Together with council members Zenkichi, Akune, and Kikaijima, Medaka takes on the challenges in the school that range from mundane tasks to supernatural battles.

I loved the one shot and had really high hopes for this manga, but after the whole Unzen saga and introduction of "Flask plan" arc I pretty much lost all interest in this series and dropped it at ch.22.

Such a pity, this manga had such potential. T_T

The series started off amusing. I mean a do-it-all girl and a bunch of eye candy fanservice for the guys, lol. But then after awhile, this series got weird.... REALLY weird... A secret school experimenting with children with superhuman powers. Umm.... what? I give it to the author for trying. However, this series went from entertaining to outright stupid and random.

I loved the oneshot. I was hopeful because of it. Then the first chapters came out and I was disappointed. The characters lacked the special qualities they had and in their place cookie-cutter cliches were substituted in and the main character became weaker and whiny. But it still had some entertainment value, or should I say hope for the future. Then the mangaka throws in the cliched love rival and this bizarre emphasis on poor fighting scenes and bypasses the whole school comedy aspects that the oneshot had. Its craptastic. If you want fighting read HSDK and if you want a school comedy read Yankee-kun to Megane-chan. This has nothing to offer for anyone with half a brain.

This series started out well, but after the first 15 or so chapters it started to decline. As far as I can tell from my most recent view of ch 34-35 the slope of the decline has become much steeper. IOW, it has gone from good to bad to worse. I see no point in wasting any further time on it.

it seems like this guy draws doujinshi.

at least that's the nuance i get from his style.

which isn't a bad thing at all. i just wish he publicly released his doujin work. i bet he's made some doujin drawings just for fun.

I liked the beginning with the introduction of the strange student council president and her conquest for the sake of others.

Since the appearance of the Uzen and his enforcer everything changed to more serious and fighting focused development.
At first, I didn't like the class 13 and flask-plan idea, it didn't fit with my expectations of the development. But I got even more fired up than in the beginning when she trained with her brother and is now fighting in the dungeon below the school. Now I want more of this. Medaka fight-oh!

The first ten chapters lives up with the series' title, but after I don't know what to think of this series. In fact, I fell in love with the one shot alot! However, after ten chapters the manga takes a huge turn going into battle mode in ridiculous ways and plot. I don't mind it going into battle, but the author should have made better development to story, or give this series a restart. The only thing good of this series is the art. As much as I disliked the story's turn..I might just read it for my favorite character, Zenkichi and art. That's pretty much it.

The manga starts rather good, great art, great characters, good and fun story.
It was something light and fun you could read whenever you felt like it.
And I don't know what happened, as many mentioned, the manga just... transformed itself. From a light comedy, it turned into a fighting manga. The main character somehow switched from one character to another, all side characters became useless (what was the character build up from the first chapters for anyway?).
The fighting is rather disapointing, the girl that was classy and cool is now a super sayien in fighting mode.
Well... I just lost interest. I would probably have read this manga till the end if they kept going as it was previously... But now... I'll probably just forget about it.

yes, that realy booring, what's so good about the female main character, and my should-be-the-main-character turn out to be a lame, pathetic, loser, oh my, what happened, and why all characters have an ab blood type, i wonder, is that an ab blood type world?? and i feel sick when looked at the eyes of characters, why it can't be a normal eyes, and everything in the manga were being exaggerated, and i never laugh when read this manga, so it can't be a comedy

The first 1-18 chapters are great, but the series starts to lose its flavor. It goes from Comedy / High school setting to a Martial Arts / Action High school setting. The character everyone thinks is the main protagonist turns out to be a side character. The fighting is just horrible. The only thing it has going is the art.

It is worth reading the first 20 chapters, any chapters after that is up to you to read.
