Jae is a Korean student who came to Europe to study art. Things aren't going her way, but she's determined to make it. One night, her friend Melissa brings a drunk guy to her apartment and asks if he can stay there for the night. Jae doesn't like it, but agrees. That night she has a dream that the drunk guy drinks her blood... which, of course, turns out NOT to be a dream.
Jae is surprisingly unafraid of the vampire, Michael, and starts to paint his portrait. The two strike an unusual deal: if Jae allows the vampire to feed on her, he will pose for her. His beauty and alluring preternatural energy could be exactly what Jae needs to finally succeed as a painter.

Gorgeous artwork, but the ending's confusing as heck. I'm still trying to figure it out... if it wasn't for that, I'd love this manhwa.

In my honest opinion, I thought it had the potential to be a good story. The art was beautiful, the story was in general a good story, but all in all it seemed so rushed that I felt I had no clue what in the world was going on.

There was no way to grow on a character because the characters in my opinion weren't fully developed in the story. There were big gaps in between characters profiles that made it really hard to grasp what was going on in the story.

I am not a fan of manwha, but it was be the first manwha I've completed, most likely the last as well.

I love vampire stories, but this manhwa is just crappy. It doesn't flow well and the characters/story are boring. I actually bought some of the volumes after reading the prelude (which made it look interesting) ..felt sick about the purchase after reading more of it. It's all angst with no development.

I loved this manhwa for two, very important, reasons:
1. i simply adore anything at all that is related to vampires
2. it's a unique and touching love story
I've heard many people being a bit restrained while reffering to this work, some found it weird, others saw it as a mushy romance...Actually i find myself contradicting both categories, since this manhwa has so much more to it than romance and is nothing close to a cliche love story, where a person can predict almost all the steps. I leave it to you to find out what i'm talking about...It's definitely worth the time! Wonderful work...

the art is really beautiful...i want more..but it's complete. I think that Tokyopop underrated it though..there's a few sexual scenes, but thats what it makes the manhwa so good!
