Katsuragi Keima is known on the net as the god of getting the girls while in real life he’s known as otamegane and he hates all real girls. However he is approached by Elsie, a devil from hell, to help her in catching runaway spirits that hide in people. Apparently the spirits only hide in the hearts of girls and the only way to get the souls out is by making the girl fall in love so the spirit gets forced out. And he’s not allowed to fail or he will lose his head.

Excellent series with original ideas and nice pacing. The newest arc (109-ish->) is simply brilliant. Keima is a refreshing protagonist for harem series and I really like the other characters too. Anime will begin in next month, hopefully it will be as good!
This series can be very funny and touching. Some people might have a problem with the basis of God capturing girls as if their objects, but every "capture" is touching in a way and the girls are very complex compared to other harem series. This manga is very funny and enjoyable if your into comedy or harem, not to mention the devil girl is insanely cute.

Great Series, Needs to be released in US/Canada!
This manga series is not your typical shounen, in a good way. The main character, Keima, is intelligent, and his methods and actions are questionable, but you always get it in the end. The female lead, Elsea, is a childish demon. That weird pairing is what makes the manga stand out.
However, what extends this manga high above the rest of the shounen is its humor. It's present in almost every chapter, especially when it's ironic. An example would be when Elsee is in a band with several of the girls Keima rescued. They need a 100% on english to form the club, and so they ask Keima, who gets nothing but 100% on exams, to help. After he helped them, most of the club members get a 100%, except Elsee. However, the teacher lets them create the club because he's so happy that Keima got a 99% on the test.
Awesome, Funny, and Interesting
At first, it may seem a little repetitive (guy trying to get girl, repeat), but it keeps getting different every time. The story keeps developing, especially around the 6x chapters - there it gets really good IMO. Its a good thing that the story has many chapters, so the main character can be developed.
with the awesome funny comedic moments (not your typical protagonist lol), and your heartfluttering moments, this manga deserves to be enjoyed by many (and rated highly). Did I mention the art is good as well? 10/10

This Deserves All the Accolades.. 10/10
This manga deserves all the accolades, no exceptions. it's for any guy who has ever played a game, any game, for hours on end. it's for any girl who has had to deal with a boyfriend who brings his PSP wherever he goes (even on dates). In short, it's for everyone!
Maybe it's because us girls know and have fallen in love with real life guys who act just like Keima, or maybe because the storyline is exquisite, the main protagonist can be forgiven for his "faults" because he can be so adorable. if you're into in-depth romance, this isn't for you, but if you're into 'what would make a real gamer fall for a real girl" then you'll get hooked into this series.
Is it just me or is Keima getting more and more attractive with each passing chapter?
This is the kind of series where I either love it or hate it...and I'm happy to say that I ended up lovin' it. The premise is just something that can end up dull and predictable, but...something about this series..does the premise right. It's probably Keima himself who propels the series from 'blah' to awesome. I recommend!
What can i say, everything that needs to be said has already been said.
I just love how the mangaka draws keima as a stylish cool guy one moment and a nerdy childish otaku the next. lol
and the story is getting exciting as well (read to chp 89). it's amazing how everything ties together nicely without confusing you. it's nice that the mangaka brings in girls from past chapters too, which kinda refreshes your memory, if it doesn't it makes you want to reread the past chapters. now that's brilliant
a manga about an otaku winning the hearts of 3d girls, (kinda like every otaku's dream ^^) what more can u ask for.
sort of like.
If you like some romance between the two main characters this manga is definitely not for you, they have almost no romantic moments, maybe one half assed moment in the last 77 chapters, keima spends his time mainly playing games and making other girls fall in love with him, that being said that part of the manga is really good, the stories are really clever and almost every girl is likable and the stories are funny and have very good plot, I wish Elsse would have more screen time tho, she barely plays any part in this manga, it's a shame because she's very adorable and funny.
It's exacly how I like a manga: The story is light-hearted with comedy, romance and light challenges. The main character takes some time to get used to, but now I like his strange attitude to reality really much. And the girls are not only cute, they are also presented with emotional deeps, which you don't see in most mangas.
To make it short: I love this manga.
I'lll hope he gets all flags for his RL-harem-ending!
Since Raito in Deathnote, more and more cold calculating bastard as protagonist become a trend (Lelouch, 'Sasuke' Shippuden, and now Keima). But i like it!
