I apologise in advance for the topic title because I realise it's about the fifth one posted, but seeing as I couldn't find the posts that held the particular gender bender stories I'm after, I'd thought I'd ask.

ok, so I've read after school nightmare and am now after gender benders where the main protagonist dosen't know whether he/ she is female or male (I can't remember the correct term for this, so I apologise if anyone is offended). I don't mind what type of story it is so long as it has this basic principle. A story where they are struggling with their identity in some way would be great but any suggestions would be welcome.

Day of Revolution is sort of what you're looking for, maybe?? It's not as fluffy as the mangaupdates description indicates, & it does cover some of the difficulties involved in adjusting to changing gender.

yes seconded, the term ur looking for is probably intersexual which is an actual genetic disorder, and Aiesu is entirely about intersexuals and how they deal with life (rather inspiring/depressing but also gets way repetitive after a while)

i do this all the time... search- genderbending + shoujo.. no yaoi and doujinshis... and look through everyone of them thats more recent than the year 2000, ... how else am i going to find genderbending mangas that fast?.. hmm... i only read ones that have peculiar art and decent plot lines though.. ^^

after school nightmare is at the top of the list of my favorites right now, it's that good. I am a bit of a sucker for gender benders as well though only certain kinds now (I used to love the 'guy dresses as girl, girl dresses as boy type, though I guess I got bored of it after a while.

I wasn't aware of that one thanks for the suggestion! I've been meaning to get to click and day of revolution as well, they look pretty good.

If anyone has any more suggestions, others would be great as well if there are any more.
