Doll: IC in a Doll <-- best android themed manga Ever. (but it is licensed by Tokyopop, you gotta get them yerself xp)

7 Seeds <-- It takes a couple of volumes to hook you up

Mother Sarah <-- one of my recent favourites! Also check out Akira

And Highly recommend Red eyes ..Dont just judge its art and the first chapter. Trust me, it gets better.

Eden <-- is also interesting'

Well, if you're looking for a more quirky sci-fi series I'd reccomend Birdy the Mighty (II)(and the original, though it only had 3 chapters and no ending)

Definately seconded on the 7 Seeds.

Blame!, NOiSE, and BioMega are all awesome.

And if you like the franchise I'd reccomend the .Hack// mangas.

Some titles I liked/you might like

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou a must. His other titles like Kabu no Isaki
20 Seiki Shounen seems to be very good.
Battle Angel Alita I want to read more of it also.
Kiseijuu good.
ES quite good.
Planetes should be good.
Ibara no Ou quick paced and good.
