Entirely out of character garbage for idiot fan-boys who can only think with their dicks.
And this is coming from someone who reads tons of porn doujins.

Best Doujin in Existance

Doujins usually have no plot other than sex or comedy. Every once in a while you get an exception. This is one of them. And it is amazing. The characters are true to their original source material. In fact, it completely fits in the Evangelion world. The story is deep and well thought out. Finally, the art is brilliant. Personally, I recommend reading the all ages version. It has a better translation, and includes some art that wasn't in the adult version.

Breakdown
Story 10/10 - As said earlier, this is a well done plot. It fits with the universe, and in all honesty, might be better than the End of Evangelion ending.
Art 10/10 - The art looks like the characters from the series. Not to mention it's displayed so that there isn't too much on a page.

Final Verdict 10/10. Read this series. You won't regret it.

Closure

I would rate this doujin in terms of how much closure it gave me in comparison to the anime and OAV. This alternative ending is somewhat like a more proper ending to the real thing. Unlike the anime and OAV, this delves deeper into what could've been an endpoint to everything. It made some character developments throughout the series have more significance. The H-Scenes, even though I am a very regular h-reader, were there to emphasize how real and beautiful the whole scenario is. Overall, I read it every other day because of how close it comes to having the feel of the original.

Now I know why I watched the whole series and the end of eva. It is to enjoy this doujin alone. This is a tale of love, courage and redemption - a cheesy description that I never thought could one day be so appropriate.

The writing is better than Hideaki Anno could create!

As the others have said, this is actually better than any of the remakes or remasterings of Evangelion. I highly recommend ignoring the "milking-the-cow" movies and I suggest fans accept this as canon. It's that good!

Not perfect, but nothing else remotely comes every freaking close

Why?

I didn't like some of the ways the characters were made out.
I mean, Rei acted... out of place, where she does that thing in volume 1 or 2, one of those. Some of the characters could have been more realistic/according to anime, although it's just absolutely fine the way it was. Maybe the scenes were a bit rushed, and I think that the characters changed mindsets more often than what they would have done, but it's fine. Although at first the characterization, while there, could have been better, this is way more than supplemented in the later volumes, where it just becomes... epic. Just plain epic.

The art was good. As a doujin, it's fucking spectacular. I seem to think that it could have been better, seriously. Backgrounds and grainy shots were missing, something to give it a little more feeling. I think a bit different/better artwork would have given the characters a little more feeling. Some scenes, like the action, could have used different art

Plot... The main, large idea, the beginning and ending and whatnot, are perfect. They are canon, man, they are canon and there's nothing you can say about that. Some things were rushed in between, as there was no action WHATSOEVER, which was considerably very well done in the anime, so I'm a bit disappointed in how they rushed these parts, as they were very important, but since we already knew about them... hell, it works. It'll jump around a small bit in the volume 4, but that's okay, since you'll still understand where it's going. IT was awesome, although I wished that anno could have superivised some parts of it.

The ending's a bit happy, yet still bittersweet. I'd prefer it if some of that happiness could be gone, cause I don't think something as epic and emo as evangelion should end so "happy" although I guess the ending's happiness is debatable. Fucking awesome last scene(s) though.

I hate the fact that it's a H-doujin, and I completely skipped over those parts. *Sigh*... those scenes just had to be in. Luckily, a Re-take censored and edited was released, so I'm pretty happy.

The entire thing was not perfect, but you will pretty much never find another doujin even close to this, I'd think. Dammit, it's almost canon.

ZOM*********G!!

IS IT JUST ME OR AM I THE ONLY ONE who sees this as a CANON!?! \
DAMN! It's the BEST "fan-made Eva SEQUEL" Ever!!!!!!11

Atfirst, I find it a bit distasteful when the mangaka added in so ShinjiXAsuka H-scenes... I initially thought that it's 'one' of the Evangelion cheap fan-made rip-offs! And then, the plot amazes me to the point of becoming so EMO with everything that happened in the storyline!!!

I SWEAR!! It's the closest thing to CANON! Somehow I had this satisfying feeling of able to 'finish off' what Anno had left us!

Forget about those lame 'fluffish' "Evangelion:Ikari Shinji Ikusei Keikaku", "Evangelion: Koutetsu no Girlfriend 2nd" sh*tty spin-offs or that alternate reality Shinseiki Evangelion:Gakuen Datenroku

Those arent even close to the standards of this Doujin!!!

better than canon

as I was reading it, I thought "this doesn't need to be here", but my protests went no further since it was a doujin afterall, and its to be expected. If you look hard enough there is a version out there with all the naughty bits blacked out or removed. No joke. What I didn't expect was that it was a more satifying read than the canon stuff. It beat the crap out of all the other eva junk out there.

I liked this doujin up to volume 3, I feel like it was about to truly make some ground into unknown space, but then it's circular plot frustrated me. Nonetheless, a must read for any eva fan; it is an excellent work of art and story.

This is some quality stuff. Some will say it's just a fanfic for Asuka fans, and I suppose they're right to a point. However, this is much more than that. It is stunning because the characters are so in character you could almost swear you're reading canon stuff. Definitely worth a read for Eva fans. My eye even watered at the end.
