Is this manga hentai or not?

It says Yaoi...

It is yaoi ok.but is it not hentai?
It shows explicit sexual scenes.
If not please give some reason for not being hentai.Atleast there should be a borderline h tag if it is not hentai,isn't it?
Or am i wrong?

I find very few Hentais that are a yaoi.
Of the 17725 Hentai series on this website only 200 are yaoi ....
My point there's a lot of Yaoi's out there that may seem like it needs a Hentai tag that doesn't.

I think I even read someone say there's no such thing as a yaoi hentai, lol

It's generally accepted that yaoi is synonymous with shounen-ai hentai. Putting up a hentai genre would just be redundant unless there was also heterosexual relationships in there.

It also to help in genre searching for people who want to read hentai but not ones with homosexual material.

I've heard people disagree but at least on this site they seperate explicit bl with non explicit by calling it yaoi and shonen-ai, respectively.

There is a distinction between Hentai and Yaoi/Yuri.

Yaoi/Yuri is equivalent to homosexual porn. While Hentai at least in this site is for heterosexual porn. Some titles have Hentai with Yaoi/Yuri together because the compilation may have both homosexual and heterosexual material.

As best as I can explain (which correct me if I'm wrong).
Not all yaoi/yuri will be pornographic just like not hentai has sex in it. Some hentai just has a person masturbating.
... I guess that's not a clear answer, but I hope it helps out.

I just slogged through it and I've found it has sexually explicit material.

If any manga has sexually explicit material it does not mean it's porn right or not?
For example koibana onsen does contain sexually explicit material but it is not porn.

Isnt it porn when the plot hangs @ having sex? meaning all other stuff is subsequent
