it would prolly be yaoi which i was intro'd to by BL, since me being a product of US licenses i grew on shounen and the rare shoujo, though this was partly due to the fact that i read online too it just popped up one day and i was real curios wink after that, well... ive read lots moar.

Josei is another one i know now; the difference between that and the shoujo genreshy

and shounen has led me to seinen with its awesomeness ( though its usually action/drama that i read)

Yaoi. Yes, back in the day I didn't care too much for BL. I was in the fan fic community for a long time, so I saw slash a lot, but was never very interested in it. When I started reading manga and watching anime, I still wasn't into it. Then I saw the light. Now I am a very, very rotten girl. biggrin And proud of it.

Tragedy and Romance.

I didn't like the feeling of something to mushy.

Ecchi, Mature/Adult, and Horror. Now I'm fine with ecchi and adult stuff as long as the series is good, and I LOVE horror.

Sci-fi, horror, action, and psychological...

Obviously used to be a kid that's peaceful, doesn't like to think, and is bad with machines. XD But now I'm the complete opposite hehe

Well, I still don't like to think but I luff philosophy now... laugh

Yaoi. Though I still don't like it, I've at least come to accept it.

Hmm. Well for the longest time, I was sure I would always hate mecha... but oddly enough, I liked gundam 00.
of course, liking Tragedy always depends on my mood.
I still tend to avoid Ecchi and Harem, and Gender Bender, with a few exceptions, is still disliked.
BL is something I didn't actually dislike, more like I never really thought I would enjoy reading it... but that's different now.
I have yet to find a yuri or shoujo ai series that I like.
I tend not to like horror because I like following one character, and in horror, the story is not so much character dependent as it is plot dependent... so the characters usually die in the end, which I don't like. It's more dramatic if they live out their lives mentally scarred.
Hentai- nope. Never. it's too graphic- and that's because being graphic is the point. It makes me feel sick, so... no. and I don't think I'm missing out on too much.
Doujinshi- (not those one's that are actually written by the author of the main story) I started liking SOME of these.

(Odd Fact: I started cleaning my room in the middle of typing this. I returned ~5 hours later.....)

Well I used to hate even thinking about BL, but after reading some really good shounen-ais I kind of like them. Yaoi is still a no-no though.

Sports - I don't like watching sports much irl and ,before ES21, I never saw the appeal to read about it either. Now I'm reading HnI, Prince of Tennis, Rookies, etc.

-BL and its more extreme version... Cause there are only more and more bishie characters to come...
-Horror-Some are sort of cool- (parasyte and Death Note)
-Psychological
-Josei (07 Ghost is adorable)
-Starting to sort of like tragedy
-Sports mangas, after trying Eyeshield 21
-Ecchi/ I have come to accept that it exists and some are okay... Mahou Sensei Negima is an example of one that is... toleratable
-Gender Bender- I hate(d) how a girl could look so masculine (made me want to vomit) BUT it turned out that some are considerably great! (1/2 Prince) AND the ones where the girl dresses up as a guy have quite alot of fanservice- there are bishies everywhere!!! ^^ (Ouran High School Host Club for example)
-Harem... Still rather weird to be but it is ok... I guess I sort of like harem because reverse harem mangas= heaven for me!
-Sci-fi, I don't read the really mecha-ish ones and the ones involving androids, robots, LIVING machines but some are an exception...
-Romance. It is too sentimental for me but I have come to accept its existance
-Drama... Was too serious for me. But I CAN read it...
-Mature/adult... I chose to read yaoi but not the girlXboy mangas with adult/mature... But some yaoi have mature/adult genres in it so I guess I now like mature/adult genres confused
