Protagonist Single/With Somebody Else by the End

Good day to you all. 😃 I was wondering if anyone knew any good series where the lead is happily single by the series' end (as in s/he was with someone/was confessed to by major love interest and breaks up/turns them down) or satisfied with the status (not really bittersweet about it) OR s/he ends up with someone different than s/he was with earlier in the series. Kind of complicated request, sorry. 🙁
Some examples of would be:
Skip Beat (sort of)
Daydream World (also sort of)
Moe Kare
I can't remember any where the protagonist is happily single at the end, sorry. ^^;
Anyways, no tragedies please. I'm open to all other genres, and the main focus does not need to be romance. 🙂

MxO The guy is single.. But he wasnt in a relationship before(he was kinda close though). And the end makes you think there's gonna be a sequel, but there isnt going to be one

technically it does.....she starts off likin this dude. then they go out for a while. then they break up. then she starts playin around with another one...how am i wrong?
