Er, you know how in so many yaoi/BL mangas, the effeminate owner/barkeep of the gay bar is a minor character rooting for the main characters from the sidelines? (Or just providing comic commentary?)

Well, I'd like to read a real story about this character. 🙂 Why don't the "mistresses" of gay bars, or the effeminate men that run these bars, or just ANY okama characaters, ever get enough screen-time? I wanna see them get some love!

I suppose that kind of counts w/ the barkeep thing, but the main character isn't an okama, right? (i.e. gay guy that likes to cross-dress or behaves in a very effeminate fashion)

I think La Vie en Rose has some stories about a barkeep, but I'm not sure how effeminate he is.
